Do you remember a couple of years a go we signed Proctor in January. We would probably have been in the Championship now had we been able to splash the cash on a Wyke What’s that got to do with Edin Rahic? Because we can afford 250k to bring in the goals we need then we couldn’t

Everybody wins apart from Kristian Dennis if he doesn't sign. Rahic saves £175k, Abbott says well i tried my best and after Oldham dick us on Saturday Stuart can say well if only i had an extra striker. We miss the playoffs and the new scapegoat is Jonson Clarke-Harris. Everyones one's a winner babe thats no lie.

What’s that got to do with Edin Rahic? Because we can afford 250k to bring in the goals we need then we couldn’t we afford fees because our wage bill is a third less now. We don't have the quality now because we pay peanuts therefore we had better quality players paying good wages but all on frees or minimum amounts.

We had a fairly average Janaury window but one player that we all thought was an upgrade (on paper anyway) was Lund, which begs the question- where is he? I know nothing about him as a player but he's shown that he can score goals in this division and has a genuine good reputation in this division. Looking ahead to next season, wouldn't it make sense to let him settle, see what he can do and then if he's good enough try to get him permanently in the summer? If he's as good as Rochdale fans were telling us it could potentially be one position sorted for next season. I think we should give him a few games atleast to see what type of player we are dealing with. We've got nothing to lose.

This rates our transfer window in emphatic thread locking style.

But Greg Abbott took offence when it was questioned.

Didn’t we have the best away record in the country pre-Christmas? It goes from that to worst in the league since jan 1.
