Jack Wilshere should have gone. England's only creative player. He needs to stay injury free but it's a good shout. Lallana and Ox perhaps too.

I'm kind of happy that we're back to being shit again. I was always uncomfortable with the idea of us getting to a final, or even winning the thing. Coming through a Penalty shoot out? That isn't us. Sat on our arses in the middle of the pitch, looking forlorn and gutted, having blown a massive chance and lost the game despite the best of possible starts? Yeah, that's our identity. 'Glorious Losers'. That famous Dunkirk spirit of celebrating a defeat by dressing it up as some sort of moral victory.

Jack Wilshere should have gone. England's only creative player. Sums up where we are creatively when A player who spent a year on loan at Bournemouth and is now at West Ham is lauded as our most creative player. Look at Croatias top players, Modric, Rakatic, mandzukic, Peresic, Kovacic and look at the teams they play for. They would all get into Englands first team. The medi have been blowing smoke up the arse of very average English players. The likes of Sterling, Lingard, Vardy, Loftus-Cheek, Dier, are very average international players. Its upto Southgate to find those players good enough to make England a trophy winning side.

We've won several youth tournaments recently at international level then these players aren't played by their club so can't develop against and with top men. Cunts like Jose won't play young lads. He'll loan them out then sell them.

Cunts like Jose won't play young sexy boys. He'll loan them out then sell them. He’s doing it with Rashford now. Players like Rashford need to leave clubs like Man U as soon as it becomes evident they’re not going to feature. They sit around waiting for their chance and waste some of the most developmentally important years of their career while the behemoth they play for trawls Europe for players to stand between them and the first team. The so-called ‘big clubs’ have a lot to answer for when it comes to the underachievement of the national team. Sadly a lot of the young players are wedded to the glamour of the top clubs and playing for Man U opens more legs than playing for Bristol City.

Young only plays because he's a work horse. And not actually that young.
