Brilliant. Reads like he's trying to bully Edin a bit who has probably said fuck all other than 'Yes Simon, we will talk'.
Ever so slightly alarming that this story comes out now, that he needs ambition matching and hasn't a clue about what his budget is going to be.
Still, at least they got those 12k renewals eh.

Its nice to see the manager saying it as it is and how we all see it on here. He's more or less saying this team is fucking shite give me the money let me buy the players and I'll get you up. I doubt Rahics ego will let that happen and we will end up with Rosler or Rahic in charge of relegation battle next season.

If Rahic takes charge of 1 match I'll piss myself! If we don't get Grayson I hope it happens, the fallout would be epic but still cretinous cunts like park and the like would be "give him a chance" "it's his club he can do what he wants"

In his own way Grayson could be just as damaging to Rahic as McCall was.

In his own way Grayson could be just as damaging to Rahic as McCall was. Hopefully He's basically dangled a very public measure of Rahic's intent out there for all the fans to see. He stays, Rahic wins. He goes, Rahic loses. When Grayson fucks off and we get a cheap, sub-standard alternative, Mason's hashtag is going to look even more ill-judged than it already does.

Clever from Grayson.
LIke we'd expect anything else though. These experienced managers are experienced in all ways, not just the playing side.

only just caught up on this thread - man in a perverse way I'd love Rahic to make himself caretaker manager or something.
I love a smug "told you so".
that said, Sandy already posted above, There'll be the usual plebs out to tell us he might turn out really good and we should get behind him (ffs)

I think he has a point. Finance is king, obviously. But all things being equal, a club that looks like it's turned a bit of a corner is bound to be a better draw than one having it's arse handed to it every week.

I hope that Grayson stays. Tuesday night was a shite game. We had no right to win that contest based on the football that was on show. It was worse than Parky hoofball, however if it gets us up into the Championship I would take a season of percentage football on the chin. The feeling you are left with after 3 ugly points is still far better than the feeling of walking away from the stadium having played it out from the back, had a lot of possession but having been done anyway by some shite outfit who's turned up and sucker-punched you with their only attack. The other thing is, I trust Grayson to be bloody-minded enough to not budge on Edin's interference. I also think that Grayson won't bottle it when it comes to the big occasion / business end of the season because he's done it (promo from lg1) many times before.

He wants to stay but if he wants the infrastructure improving on top of having a competitive playing budget all on the back of reduced season ticket sales, he won't be. One thing he is doing though is putting our owners under pressure to invest their own money. If they are not going to do it now when we've got a manger with 4 league 1 promotions on his record, they never are. Regardless of how next season pans out, atleast we'll know where we stand as a fanbase and what to expect for the rest of Rahic's and Rupp's reign. www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/16190709.Grayson_won__39_t_drag_his_feet_over_Bantams_decision/
