Fans are definitely turning. Yesterday was as bad as anything served up over the last 5 years. Realistically we need another big clear out in January as the squad looks piss weak. If we aren't gonna play the likes of East or Young after the way others have been playing then they need to go for their own wellbeing. Actually becoming bored of it again. The sad thing is I don't think the fans are turning, I think those of us who see it early like most on here are getting wound up but the vast majority seem to want to give Hughes 2 decades to sort it out. Truth be told apart from Gilliead I think we have the best starting 11 in the league, it's the tactical approach and game management that is appalling and that is down to Hughes. Previous managers have had shite squads and poor investment in transfers to mask their shitness. Hughes hasn't got them excuses to hide behind but yet the retarded masses are trying to find them. Put Wellens or Evans as manager and you would see a completely different outcome

Warnock in. He’s a cunt and I’ve hated him down the years but he’d get us back to back promotions. Wilder ain’t coming here.

He needs to stop being such a stubborn fuck. It ain't working. Go 433, a bit more direct and we'd be better.
I'm up for Evans though

Hughes single handedly saved season ticket sales. Forget that he's never managed at this level, it was Mark Hughes, and blind faith combined with "the name" saw us shift decent numbers.
Hughes and his "shit housing chickens" were getting promoted once he'd put his stamp on the squad. Easy.
Well it's certainly his team now. And there are glaring weaknesses and his football is predictable and dull as fuck.
If we don't get promoted he'll walk, rest assured Rupp doesn't give a fuck and Sparks' head is too far up Hughes arse he won't sack him should we fail yet again.
Imagine having to start again in League Two next season with yet another manager. I'm fucking sick of it, can barely be arsed to turn ifollow on. League Two next season, with the promise of having a go, no more mediocrity, with another new manager. Pass me the fucking rope...

Halliday and Wright, but in that team I wouldn't be emphasising on the defensive side of wing backs 3 cbs and a defensive midfielder should be enough to allow the width to be more attacking than defensive. Play Smallwood in the middle with Banks and Chapman either side allowing them both to float out either side of the front 2 or split the 2 up when attacking giving us more options in and around the box.

He's like a cardboard cut out of himself when we go behind. No idea how to inspire his side or make changes to affect things - just lets games fizzle out.
Has he won a game after going behind? We got last minute draw against Wimbledon but that's it?

Apparently he absolutely fucking loves it here. But you would wouldn't you? Big club with high expectations but a fanbase that are as passive and pliable as possible and a CEO and owner who don't care.

You can see him now in a tea-stained vest and socks, curtains drawn and surrounded by half eaten Wagon Wheels (jammy), furiously beating his meat and screaming, “I’M MARK HUGHES’ BOSS’, on the vinegar strokes.

Could the right changes be afoot? This was a load of rubbish. He was on about making us us shite and keeping us in the Khazi league for eternity. It's happened.

This was a load of rubbish. Plus ça change. Reading it back a year later, I see it differently. We thought it was a hint about investment, changes, potentially a change of ownership. I think it was actually Hughes predicting how great he was going to be. I think he thought he could swing dick in and his premiership quality would transform lowly players to greater feats with his inspiration, coaching, methodology. There were positive signs towards the end of last season. We started playing some nice stuff and scoring goals. Looking back, the league pressure wasn't there. We weren't going up or down so there was nothing at stake really. That gives a freedom of sorts to be more creative and risky. This season has been mainly crap. The fact that every point counts now has made us so risk averse we have eleven back for defending corners. There's no dick swinging going on right now.
