Now that's out of left field.
Big fat meh from me. Track record of failure, been out the game for years, but a big name.

Anyone not voting Ronnie Brown is wrong. It's possibly the most RB thing ever.

Unexpected, better than the majority of the names mentioned and knows how an actual professional club operates, hopefully kicks sparks into touch

Stefan will possibly have heard of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, so that will have swung it.

It’ll be an expensive payout next February.

Who knows? We have had proven managers turn to shit. I'm beyond guessing what the frig these managers will bring.
I guess as a forward he will want to play to get the ball forward rather than bore us to fucking death like Adams and Bowyer. Time will tell but I won't judge him on the shitpool of players he has at his disposal now, any judgement comes next season.

Everyone’s getting excited but this is another boo-boo. Him, Bruce, Pardew etc are all much of a muchness and I’ve sat back and watched their teams bumble around playing directionless football wondering how the fuck it is that they keep getting jobs.
He won’t be cheap, he knows fuck all about the lower leagues, his record is poor, he trades on his name and he’ll be working under one of the most half-arsed, amateurish regimes in professional football. We’ve been blinded by his name and the glamour of some of the clubs he’s managed but he’s just not a very good manager and he’s a bit dim.
We should have played safe, gone for an attacking manager with a reputation for playing the game the right way and promised no more than front foot football and having a really good go at teams next season. Instead we’ve been swayed by showbiz and appointed a guy who’ll fail and do it expensively.
This is a mistake and it’s one with nothing more than season ticket sales in mind.

Fuck knows. Honestly, fuck knows. I think he's a better pick than Fowler, but I'd rather have gone for someone on the up.

He’s the managerial equivalent of those ageing strikers with piss poor records and nothing left in the tank that were so fond of. Sparks has popped a pan handle when Hughes’ CV landed on his desk and strapped the blinkers on. In case there’s any doubt I’m desperately unimpressed.

Usual suspect having a dig. Can’t ever be happy. What is it he wants from the fans, silence? Chewing the fat and arguing over managers, tactics, players and referees etc is a huge part of the fun of following football. What this is is a little glimpse into his narcissistic psyche where the proles defer to experts. Experts like John.

This is the thing, he plays awful football and we’re back at Derek Adams status again, hoping that he can build a team that gets results and makes watching their turgid efforts worth our effort. It represents another gamble because if it’s starts to fail there’ll be no patience with, or appetite for, horrible football. It’s a mistake.

The conversations on Twitter are probably little different to what went on in the pub before socials, the only difference is you can overhear every conversation whether you agree with it or not.
