Another article that basically just espouses what we've been saying for nearly 2 years.
At what point can we say 'told you so' without looking like c*nts?
And since when have we cared about looking like c*ants?

Thinking about this more, its patently true. We're disliked for 2 reasons.
1. Our public toilet, schoolboy humour and language. 2. And this is what really grates - we see things earlier and call them out earlier than elsewhere. How many times have we been right though?
We called Hanson out for being shit/past it, citing that he'd do nothing for Sheff Utd. Correct. Rahic being a disaster. Correct. We called relegation for the following season when Stuart was dismissed last time. Correct. We called relegation again when Collins was appointed. Correct. We called Bowyer out after a few games last season, nailing neither him or the squad as being good enough for the playoffs even when were top 2 in the early weeks. Correct. We've called out a number of transfers before anyone else. We've called Rupp out for not spending (net) beyond the bailout that was needed - offset by McBurnie. Correct. We called out the cost cutting driver behind January's window - correct. We've called this seasons squad not good enough - early days, but very much correct. We've also called out that relegation may not be the outlandish idea that some think, for this season. Let's see.
Its the fact that we're actually correct that winds people up. As if we sit around, thriving on being miserable bastards when in actual fact we're feeling as shitty as anyone - we're just better at seeing things early and not standing for mediocrity or being taken for cunts.

Thing is, these things aren't necessarily that difficult to see. So long as you don't own a pair of "everything is great at Bradford City" tinted glasses.

Parker’s match report from Newport on Saturday “The more hysterical replies, the “outside noise” that McCall refers to, spouted fears of looming relegation battles and non-league. Ignore that nonsense after only a second defeat in seven games.” Parker loves a smug dig as much as the usual suspects. It’s not the defeat that matters, every team loses from time to time. It’s the manner of the defeat. The quality and mentality of the squad. Of the last three games, play like we did against Harrogate and especially second half against Newport and relegation will be looking over our shoulder. For me he’s as culpable as anyone, always a positive story, he’d have been on the Titanic saying it’ll be fine once the bilge pumps kick in. Two defeats in seven sounds a lot better than two wins and some desperately poor football

But nah, he doesn't want to piss off the club. Steady ride until retirement, so why should he? Unfortunately very few journalists would go against the club they report on so easier to tow the line instead.

Unfortunately very few journalists would go against the club they report on so easier to tow the line instead. Him or McKeown could have used lockdown to do some cracking articles on what really went on in the Rahic period, used a common enemy to get the fans onside and start to rebuild the trust that’s so lacking but no, let’s do another why we love Bradford City, top ten City goals since 2011 or an interview with the unused sub in that draw against Merthyr Tydfil in the 1963 FA Cup. Sometimes I curse my dad for having me born a City fan. Twat.

We won't get relegated, we've seen with Stevenage and Mansfield there are enough poor teams to keep us ok. I called 18th and I'm sticking with it.

There are two worse teams in the league and one that might get wound up because of an unpaid tax bill. Is this what it’s come to, three years after nearly getting promotion to the second tier our future is relying on teams being more shit.

Sparks InterviewIt’s awful decent of Jason to take the time to write articles so that Dewhirst can write the same comment about social media bile on every single fucking one.

I couldn't think of anything more painful than reading the comment section. Dewhirst is like a stuck record with his comments, if he says them enough times he thinks they become fact. Strange character.

It’s a good read, but there’s an element of self congratulation that’s ill founded. A positive start, he’s generally rallied people around to the direction we’re looking to go - but we’ve achieved nothing yet, The time for ‘I told you so’s’ will be at the end of next season, if we go up.

There’s a premature rush to crawl right up Sparks’ arse. It’s a promising start but no more and it’s still to translate into any sort of genuine return.

All the criticism in the summer of the squad, the lack of off the pitch structure, the manager, the then CEO, all have been shown to be correct. I’m not sure where the man gets off with his whining about online bile, Cougar is as bad as it gets these days. The less said the better about his tweet after the opening day win at Bolton and the bollocks he sends in DMs, there’s nobody else who has dropped as many c-bombs in private messages as he does.

He's riding off the crest of a massively fortunate wave - the shocking upturn in form lead by 2 young pretty much ex-non legaue players. Who on earth expected that after we lost at Oldham? Come on now.
It's a much better than anticipated start - but with 3 games a week becoming the norm very soon we could find ourselves in trouble again very quickly if we lose a few in quick succession.
Let's not touch willies just yet.
