Bigots? I’m sure there’s some bigots on here, but I’m very woke actually thank you very much. I’m quite offended by that.

Dewhirst sent me a long DM this morning and accused me of using Orwellian language in saying those on here love the club.
And that if TCA wants to be taken seriously it needs to moderate its language, keyboard warriors, blah blah...

And that if TCA wants to be taken seriously it needs to moderate its language, keyboard warriors, blah blah... We don't care what people like Dewhirst think. They have their own thinking on how things are run and what a supporter should be like and we have ours. We don't force others to come on here, there's a block function that he uses and others can too. The funny thing is their snowflake, rose tinted, jgbtlffs way of supporting hasn't improved a thing. So who's right who's wrong ? Nobody knows but it's usually those with something to gain at the club, either special invites or products to sell or to generally be able to tell people they sat down with Captain Admin or Stuart, who voice their disapproval of us. We don't gain anything, we don't want to sit down with the club we don't want to take money out of fans pockets for our own gain. We want the club to behave in an ambitious way with real football people in charge and more than anything we want the club just to try and be successful instead of years and years and years of begging bowls and excuses.

Make this great club a proper forward thinking club with an eye to future development and we'll back it all the way, in fact we'd be the clubs best ally of things were done right.

Funny he mentions Orwell when he's part of the clique glorifying our failure of a Chairman/CEO. Rewriting history favourably.

Why does he assume we want either credibility or his advice? If you’re reading this, John, shove your worthless advice right up your fartpipe.

Exactly, we're not here to please others, we'll leave the circle jerking to BB and WOAP. Simple advice, if you don't like what the Cows Arse preaches then fuck off, we're not forcing you to read it.

Dewhirst can talk about keyboard warriors but I can’t think of a lot, if anything, I’ve said on here, on Twitter, that I wouldn’t say directly to Rhodes, Rupp or Sparks, and I’d imagine most are the same. There might be the odd joke but I also don’t think anyone seriously wants the team to lose. This is after one good performance, Dewhirst should be better than his tweet last night. Criticise the doubters when City are top six in November.

Thing is, I'm anonymous because I know how people think on Twitter -
I'm not commenting on the actual act of taking the knee - more the identification of Kitchen. If he thinks BLM is a pile of shit that's his business and I'm not judging him. The guy who called him out may / may not be taking the piss, but thats not the point.
The point is there are plenty of freaks out there, who if they get my real name and don't like some of my views / language I use (even if it's all within the law) would love to send comments to the club, my employer etc. demanding how some of what I say is a bit spicy or upsets / offends them personally and demand action be taken, like those 'Karens' you hear about.
I don't want my life being made hell because we have our equivalent of Social Justice Warriors waiting to pounce to show their loyal dedication to the Club, Bantams Family or the Twitter gomper community.
It's such a cowardly, soft argument. 'Oh you're a keyboard warrior, you never use your real name', I know, because if I did half the mutants amongst our Twitter base would be fighting themselves to see who could shame me to the club first.

Spot on, I had someone, and I know who it is because they emailed from a named account, contact my employer six weeks or so ago complaining about my alleged abuse of Sparks on Twitter. About the same time Neshead and Hobhead were outed. Luckily my gaffer laughed, called him a dickhead and forgot about it, shook me though, different gaffer or different mood and I could have been in shit. Far too many who want to weigh in to your private life when there’s no need, companies are itching to get rid of folk in this post Covid time.

What sort of sad bastard would email your employer with no justification?. I'm intrigued to know if it's a prominent twitter user known to us but I won't ask. Hope no one gets in touch with my employer, he's a right cunt.

I know people don't like our attitude and language - but I'd like to assume we're not weirdos, and that we're not the sort of pathetic wretches who would go crying to the club / someone's employer or customers to try and publicly shame them. It's not just having a fan or employee with a (subjectively) offensive opinion - the real fear and worry is being associated with someone like that; no action means you tolerate it. And in today's cancel culture, guilt by association means you're as guilty as the person who said it.

How sad, instead of enjoying a pretty decent performance he has to jibe.
It's also far too early to start swinging your dick around, swallows and summers and all that. Mickey C won his first match away at a decent side too. Get back to us after ten games.
I dearly want McCall to take us right back to the top, just like he did as a player. I don't think he can or will but fuck me I'd love it so much to be wrong.
I don't get this attitude that because we criticise we want to lose. If we wanted to lose we wouldn't criticise, we'd be delighted with mediocre club officials wallowing in mediocrity. I want to fucking win the lot, I want us to be pulling everyone's pants down, dishing out bummings left, right and centre. Literally and metaphorically.

Mark Lawn, from 2011, but Im sure I read similar comments over the years - "We get people inquiring but not with the sort of money to alter the club. That’s what they’d need to do. “It’s got to be someone who can alter the club and take it beyond what Julian and myself can do. We could get promoted this season, hell, we could get promoted again in a few years. The thing is we could easily tumble back to this level. Like the chav who won £7m on the lottery and blew all of it a few years with nothing to show. Without the investment anywhere to discover, maintain, improve or profit on quality we're no different to someone like Yeovil in how they went up and down. I was always under the impression whoever took over, while not throwing unlimited funds at us, would invest more than asking the fans to pay for a video scoreboard. Of course everyone wants to see McCall lead us to promotion. But without the right foundations, we could just end up here again. And again. He hasn't even been given the right backing now FFS - look at the pre-salary cap shenanigans we were pulling.
