Lol. They're trying so hard not to call anyone a cunt in that latest article. They say what we do - albeit in a different way - and theyre applauded like when Philip Schofield came out. And like when those who applauded Phil ignored the wife he shat on after decades of marriage, WOAP ignor the fundamental workplace rot at the club. Because, of course, it's quickest and easiest to blame the players. There is a level of hypocrisy in the latest article, taken indivdually its a fair assessment of whats happening but had we have written it then the usual pitchfork mob would have been out in force. Crazy as it seems to the ones who constantly deride us, we all want the club to succeed. There's nothing better than watching us go toe to toe with the likes of Sunderland and Sheffield utd of previous years. And to be fair we've always been behind anything that has a positve take to it. But for fucks sake give us some credit, when the shitshow has been at its best, we've always been the ones to call them out when others like to hide with their head in the sand. As we have always said, our problems don't stem from individual player performances, it goes way way deeper than that. I for one take no pleasure from seeing the likes of Kurtis Guthrie receive the abuse he gets on social media, hell we didn't force him to come here at gunpoint. It was our decision as a club to bring him here. The blame for the clubs apathy lies with the guys at the top and their decision making. No one else.

It was our decision as a club to bring him here. The blame for the clubs apathy lies with the guys at the top and their decision making. No one else. Of course I want Guthrie to do well - we based a team around Hanson for a few years in L2 and we managed to get something reasonable out of it - but Guthrie just seems to come in and out with no thought behind his role or where he fits in whatsoever. Guthrie is going to be made an example of because of the nature of his signing and who had come in / gone out in January. But the real issue is why did we sign him and who was involved? He's is going to be the fall guy - as will other players - becuase its easier and cheaper to shift players in and out than address the long standing foundational problems we have. Just why has our recruitment been so bad for years, is it just an umbrella term such as under-investment or are there more specifics? The last decent window we had was when we signed Wyke and Jones, why have they been so unbelievable bad since - who or what else did PP take with him when he left? If you had a list of every player signed since the play off final you'd struggle to put together a starting 11 you'd have any confidence in. The recruitment is shit. Blaming the players is an easy way to cover it up.

tbf, it did just say "cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunts" It was actually very polite. I just agreed with a previous post that Rhodes has to take some blame for where we are.

Cutting to the chase with that article -
"I love Stuart McCall. He absolutely should stay as our manager. But the experience of Bradford City has been cheapened is so many other ways for fans that he needs to give us a reason to tune in each week beyond blind loyalty. Our routines and habits have been broken. Now more than ever, we need a Bradford City that we recognise.
Otherwise, and it saddens me to say it, I can’t be the only one unlikely to watch another five seasons of this."
This club will fade and we will fall away like other established teams if our approach continues for another 5 seasons. The league structure is changing in terms of who is in and out - new sides from non-league establishing themselves such as Forest Green, Harrogate, Burton etc, historic teams that have reinvented themselves such as Accrington and Barrow, while historic clubs in larger towns / cities are declining into obscurity, such as Notts County, Stockport, York...
We will be a historic relic if nothing changes.

They can't risk a novice CEO surely? Let’s hope not but would anybody put it past them? It’s not possible to rule anything out with this club.

If it’s Sparks I will never go to another game so long as he’s there. They can’t do that. It’s idiotic. No, it’s beyond that. It’s out right insanity. It’d be like me replacing Tim Cook because I have a iPhone.
