I’m not sure where Labour go from here. They’ve got splits everywhere: Monentum and the unions vs a large part of the party and Labour’s traditional core voters. Added to that, as Hoochy says there’s even a split within and between the support itself. In one corner there’s the working class Midlander/Northerner and in the other the generally Southern, Middle Class intelligentsia. How does the next one in the big chair unite all that and will Momentum and the unions even let them? I reckon there’s a fair to middling chance of a split here and that, on the face of it, might look like a terrible thing for Labour but it might be their best hope. Labour don't have a USP anymore, highlighted by them winning a fairly affluent seat of Putney but losing the likes of Leigh. Its all arse about face. There's talk of people like Jess Philips going for the leadership, have they not learned anything from this election. They've been effectively poisoned by the likes of Bastani and Jones on social media where they naively believed they appealed to broad spectrum of voters because of these sort of idiots when if they'd bothered to ask they were actually alienating traditional voting stock.

Jess Phillips is special needs.
It would be fantastic watching her in charge. They'd have no chance in the election either. In fact there's nobody who springs to mind who could change their fortunes.

He could be a good choice. Agree with Tart here. He’d be good with the Southern set, not so much the grubby-necked Northerners.

Starmer is an oily operator though, a bit like Cameron. He might be able to pull it off.
They’ll go for a woman though.

100% it’ll be a woman. Pretty sure the momentum lot wanted long bailey, and that’s a lot of votes in the leadership thing.
She’s shit though.

Bookies have got Starmer and Long-Bailey as the two front-runners. I reckon Corbyn's going to spend his remaining time as leader making sure Momentum get their chosen replacement. There might even be some helpful rule changes before the next leadership election. She'll get the job and she'll be shit at it.

Of the labour wimmins PLP, looking beyond the obvious front bench munters, i guess Lisa Nandy (also big tits) would just about justify a wank.

Been trying to think of a half decent choice to replace Corbyn and the best I can come up with is Alan Johnson. They’re proper fucked. It's got to be someone well liked by the press. That's how vacuous our society is. Someone clean cut and sharp. Blair looks like an old tramp now but he was smooth in the 90s. That Chuka fella would have been ideal looks wise but he's pissed on his chips with that new party. Is that still going? Alan Johnson is too old for it. Give it to Rayner to get the male species on board, we all would. Andy Burnham would have fitted that bill, plus he's left leaning enough to placate the membership. Shame he's not an MP though. Or female
