Here's to the Jew hating Marxist getting a good hammering today. I haven't voted for years but today I went down and put my cross in the Conservative box. In truth I think I'm hoping I've helped for two reasons. Firstly Brexit is finalised and the country can finally move on and talk about something else but Secondly and more importantly, Labour will have to get rid of the beardy terrorist sympathizer and hopefully make someone who is electable as leader so for the next election there's a genuine contest.

Tactical voting - so you're not voting for who you want to be charge, you're voting against who you want to be in charge.
When it comes down to that, for unconvinced, unaligned non-voters like me it makes the system look even more pointless.

Landslide. Labour wiped out. Happy days. Labour are a busted flush. No doubt cunts like Owen Jones will roll out the excuses but in truth its cunts like him who are the reason Labour are in this mess. They've completely alienated their core support to a point where they are completely unelectable. Gonna take them years to rid the stench of Corbyn from their ranks.

It’s a bloodbath.
Watch how long it takes the Blairites to pounce on Corbyn.
Can we all stop saying the public have changed their minds on Brexit now? We sent more Brexit Party MEP’s to Europe than any other party and we’ve returned a landslide for a man who’s said little else but, ‘let’s get BREXIT done’ for three months. Every time we’ve had a chance to vote from the referendum onwards, we’ve voted in Brexity fashion.

I'm in my mid/late 30s. The part of my office I sit in has a lot of 20 somethings there. Been very pro-Labour, almost militant - about poverty, food banks, NHS etc.
Probably an age thing, but after listening to them and others of a similar age in real life and online, the thing that strikes you is the sense of entitlement.
There's always been the venom between the sides, but with the young population theres the feeling that because they're morally right anything else is pure evil. And they can't believe that isn't enough to have won.
As someone with a bit more life experience, you learn life doesn't work like that. You can't just feed the needy and house the homeless.
They say things like they can't believe who actually votes for them who isn't privileged. Quite a lot of people it seems, from all walks of life.

Social media is awash with these sort of comments, like somehow trying to kid themselves that because they voted Liebour a vote for anything else is inherently wrong. It has a similar pattern to the brexit vote and the aftermath of that, everyones an idiot, racist, (insert other well worn insult). Best of three?

It's the Xfactor audition mentality - when someone who is clearly never going to make it bursts into tears and anger, crying out 'but I really want this!' and 'I know I've got the Xfactor!'. Or, I want doesn't get. Lesson 1 in life. My dad has started using facebook recently but been getting into internet arguments, he doesnt realise you should just ignore them, instead he gets even more angry and wound up. Yesterday he commented on a post about the NHS, he said both sides have mismanaged it over the years, and spoke about both having a policy of employing trained up foreign doctors as its quicker and cheaper than training our own. He was labelled a liar, and a bigoted racist. I had to wade in to help him out. Told the cunts my dad was GP with 30+ years working in working class areas, and is a migrant himself who came through one of the fucking schemes he spoke about. But the cunt called my dad a racist because he had the audacity to have a different opinion based on actual fact.

Your Dad is bang on, this idea that you can just throw money at something in the hope it will create change is laughable. Like most of the public services in this country it needs proper management. But you can't tell that to the voting youth of today, waving their placards and stamping their feet at the slightest perceived difference of opinion.

Calling everyone who disagree with you a racist isn’t a solid debate technique. Similarly, sneering at people who have different opinions to you as stupid isn’t a vote winner with the ‘stupid’.

I've started watching a few philosophy and anti SJWs types recently, Jordan Peterson being one. Pro-masculine, anti snowflake etc. Not racist, bigoted or anti woman, more pro common sense. It's quite entertaining watching intelligent people pick apart and embarrass SJWs.
I've seen videos of them speaking at lectures and conferences, and because their views don't match those of snowflakes (such as refusing to buy into having to legally address people by their chosen pronouns in parts of North America of face criminal action), their sessions are invaded by protests, they set fire alarms off they set off air horns as they are talking etc. Everything to disrupt, to drown out.
So much 'me, me, me' culture.
After every election previously, most people would have a moan then scurry off back to their lives. Many would rightly feel aggrieved, but today, many are aggrieved for the wrong reasons, i.e. the 'I want' culture.
