It's ironic that those who leave early, don't clap like seals after a heavy defeat and don't ejaculate over mediocre signings are labelled as 'not proper fans' when in fact it's fans like that who want and crave success.
Too many people have simply accepted averagness where a point at shitty Walsall, DESPITE been 3-0 up, is lauded as a decent one as Walsall is a 'tough place to go'.
We need to snap out of it as a fan base or we'll just stagnate.

But at least you'll have a club to support. Just get behind the lads FFS. If City went under I'd choose one of the other 91 clubs in the league to support. I'd base my decision on league position and claim that "my dad used to support them" or "I'm actually from Manchester (Bradford) anyway". Either that or I'd choose a "safe" club like Morecambe who never spend any money, always live within their means and are just happy to be in the league. It'd be a wild ride...

Look at this gomping cunt on twitter - "Also, just cos other clubs have signed players doesn't mean they're gonna be any good #bcafc" What the fuck sort of statement is that? Why bother to do anything? The complete epitome of an unambitous happy clapper. That reminds me of one the main arguments for sticking with Hanson when he was having a particularly barren period known as 'last season': we should stick with him because 'his replacement could turn out to be worse'. The whole club is wracked with a lower league mentality. Even the thought of showing a bit of board room ambition is met with terrified wails of, 'but Geoffrey Richmond' and 'six weeks of madness'. We are where we are because it's where we belong and deserve to be and it stems from the fans. Its the supporter equivalent of being Nicky Law. Sideways, sideways. Don't take risks, just be glad we have a club.

This Raeder deal looks like a bit of a mutual back-scratching arrangement to me. I'm thinking we're a shop window for the lad and he has six months to try and win back the attentions of Southampton, Newcastle and whoever else might want him. I can't help but wonder though what impression he's under regarding just how much first team action he can expect. Has Edin told him he's first choice? Are we headed for another goalkeeping stand-off? Ooh the intrigue.

Doyle is untouchable like Law From Bayern Munich and Vitória Setúbal to six months back up in League One? Edin's told him he'll make his name with us and play week-in, week-out. At least, that's the rumour I'm starting.

If this is it then that's poor, I'll put the promotion party on hold I've put 5 whole English pounds on city winning the league out right. The Germans are bumming me. Shafted. Cunts.

By the way, a quality attacking midfielder is what we should be after in January.
That cunt Ozthumer at Walsall. That's who we should be having a bang on.

Watching Wolves on the Championship last night, joint first but they have a midfielder on loan from Athletico Madrid with 5 goals in 8. Now we're not going to get him, but the highlight showed him bursting into the box to score 2 yesterday. We don't have anyone like that - and all our attacking threat comes from crosses. Sooner or later we will come up against sides that stifle all that threat, and I don't think we have enough going straight down the middle to carve teams open - Blackpool's goal, oxfords second and the one yesterday that led to the MK clearance all came from putting a runner through on goal. We never look like doing that. Law's shooting was shit as always yesterday and Reeves isn't getting in those positions.

Did everything right in the build up, lovely one two. But he didn't even get a shot off. Was sub Billy Clarke. He's lucky there was all the controversy over the "injured" player as people forgot just how fucking shit it was.

As he was shaping to shoot you could almost feel his lack of confidence. It's odd to say he's supposed to be able to play the role behind the front two that his finishing is so fucking woeful.
