Possible 'revenue gap' Desperately going after the low hanging fruit in endless local sponsorship deals not worked out then? It’s absolutely amazing to me that we’re constantly being told that spending money beyond our means could put the club at risk and that, as a result, sustainability is the most desirable strategy and yet when we have money coming in we suddenly have a ‘revenue gap’. Either all the guff about us being frugal is bullshit or the revenue gap is - both can’t be true. The truth is we all know what’s going on here and anybody who puts money into the club now is either in denial or knowingly being scammed. Are we living on that much of a shoestring, paycheck to paycheck? Looks like it. Sparks is just spinning plates to try and keep the books - sponsor deal here, player sale there.. there's just too many plates and they're going to start falling.

I think we're running just fine but any substantial money in will go to our glorious leader.

Amalgamate it into Leeds. Call Bradford a suburb of a greater Leeds area and restyle the centre as a separate quarter of Leeds. Improve transport between the two centres to get people to Leeds quicker. Combine the phone area codes and postcodes so all have an 0113 and LS. Challenge Manchester for the largest city in the North and attract investment that currently goes that side of the Pennines We all h8 Leeds scum though. You’re supposed to put ‘L666s’ m7.

Good look shifting season tickets for next season. Anyone buying one is voting for a continuation of this shitshow. Nothing changes without ownership change and that won’t happen while the fans buy season tickets in numbers. It’s long after time for a ‘not a penny more’ protest but our fans are dribbling shitheads who have the club they deserve.

Some just perform mental gymnastics because they don’t want to admit they’ve been fucked over and taken for a ride. Some, i’m convinced, actually enjoy misery and failiure. They wear it like a comfort blanket. Some are just simpletons. Period.

I think the club is long overdue liquidation to be honest. It's been the apathetic fans renewing without question propping up the club. Without 15,000+ fans renewing the club don't get the sponsorship. Stop going, don't renew you might just save the club. I haven't missed going and to be honest unless there is a bandwagon to jump on I won't be back.

If there was a fans forum tomorrow, the question I would ask is, what even is the future beyond L2?
Aside from being 'sustainable', how does the club plan to not just survive at a higher level, but compete and plan to grow further as a whole, on and off the pitch?
How do they plan to scale up 'sustainability' to allow us to compete? Still basing everything cheap season tickets and sponsorship deals with local pressure washer companies? 'Sustainability' continues as is?
The gap is starting to emerge between L1/L2 in terms of football and the structures behind the clubs. Certianly in terms of overall spend and growth, how does this club compete?
If GA sorts this shit out and gets us up this season or next, we'll always be a bad season away from dropping down and rotting in L2 again.
When we were in L1 I asked the same question about the Championship, and that was before Sparks came in. We're so badly squeezed and managed in so many ways I can never see this current set up surviving in L1 without serious change.

People debating how much we might get for Young. It really doesn't matter as none of that money will go to strengthening the squad. Alexander has to play out the season with what's left which thankfully won't end in relegation die to how bad the bottom two are.
We should get £500k for Young. It really doesn't matter, we could get £1, £100,000 or even £1m and absolutely none of it will be spent on the team. The gullible masses actually think we will be signing players after these sales.

Sell off players to bring in cash, get back an old loanee who's new club don't need him and paint it as a great signing to keep the Gompers happy.
Textbook by Sparks.

My instant thought was no way was this a pure GA signing. You wonder how it might have gone down... 'Graham, look - my balls are about to nailed on the wall, will you find room, please, for this kid? You'll get some budget in the summer, I promise, no room for mediocrity etc etc'

Wright is a good player but this move is laughable. As you say, it's textbook from that cunt. Heat is on him so he brings back a fans favourite to quell the noise a bit. When in truth it's a lazy signing, symptomatic of our entire recruitment "strategy". Ex player so no scouting involved and a player who doesn't even fit the formation we play.

After reading some of the gomper posts on facebook, it's like being trapped in one of those recurring dreams where no one is listening and the lunatics are running amok.
The more we get shat on, the more the gompers dig their heels in.
Our fanbase is like one of those abused malnourished dogs that has blind loyalty to it's scratty chav master.
