Think we'll lose Saturday which is poor really because I think Carlisle are shit. I can't stand them as a club. If they go to Wembley I hope they get absolutely stuffed the cunts

Seen their fans and manager moaning about the ref. That’s the same ref who gave us one free kick in the second half and gave them everything after HT. 🥴

A lot of their chances came from poor decisions from the ref and lino. Their man going past Stubbs and diving, the ball going out of play for a goal kick the lino missing it before they put it accross the goal. Not to mention Garner trying to get our players booked on multiple occasions. Him running into Critchlow off the ball and going down holding his face or him pulling down Critchlow and holding onto him - proper little cunt-waffle that bloke. They didn't lose last night because of the ref, they lost because their finishing was woeful. Cunt club.

The fouls on Cook were ridiculous too. At one point whilst challenging for a high ball their CB literally had both of his hands over Cooks face yet nothing was given. The ref was no worse than your standard L2 official and certainly wasn’t a “Homer” like they’re trying to make out. Are they just used to their moany little cunts getting their own way all the time?

I just think they're a proper whingy little fanbase as a whole. No idea if you use Twitter, but they're a real arrogant bunch on there. Almost every single fan claiming they'd have won easily with a different ref. Their fans saying they'll smash us 5-0 at their place and other such crap. I'd absolutely love us to go there and shithouse a 0-0 tbh.

Carlisle were terrible until they took Omari Patrick off. If they start with him and that little ginger shite Garner up front we’ve got a chance. But if they play actual footballers then we’re going to get humped 3-0. Garner might well be a little prick, but he was the best player on the pitch last night.

Derbyshire has a bit of a football brain and actually puts in some effort. He should have come on for Walker rather than Osadebe yesterday. Hughes looks clueless at times to what everyone else can see. We got away with one yesterday despite Hughes not because of him. He can't see changes that need making and just continues with what we have set up with from the outset until the shit hits the fan. He is reactive rather than proactive. He brought Osadebe on for legs but he's just not right and should have been put away for next season. Might as well play Bola left wing we've tried everyone else there Does Pereira play on the left? It's so long since he played I can't remember. He's go down as another pointless loan signing that is brought in just to fill the bench. Standard recruitment of who is available rather than going out and getting what we need. Wright was good for us as he was our only pacey direct player, his replacement Neves is useless but probably cheap.

With Vernam or Wright on our left now I’d be much more confident.

A Vernam or Wright type is exactly what we're missing. That, plus a proper, progressive playmaker next to Smallwood. They'd make a huge difference.
We've just thrown numbers at it. Nevers, Eisa, Donohue, Derbyshire, Perreira. All shite. Young was better than the lot, but he's tanked at Barrow.

Is anyone actually confident for this? I just don't see us going through. We shit the bed EVERY time we get close to something meaningful.

If nerves get to Carlisle in the first half like at VP we could take advantage. A lot of wind coming out of their club, manager, players and fans, so piling some pressure on them to perform, while collectively we're seeing it more as a job to get done. I suppose this is where MH's experience of handling big games could be really tested.
We have to play more intelligently though. Can't concede silly set pieces like we did as they were a big threat from them, while with ours playing the ball near a giant goalkeeper was never going to work. There was no purpose to us going forward in that second half on Sunday, we started to go forward then had no idea what we were doing or what teammates were supposed to do. Double marking Banks and Cook did work for them, so we need the threat from elsewhere i.e. Walker.
I reckon it'll be 1-1, we score first, concede, then hang on for dear life after.

The more I think about it the more I think that we’ve got no chance of going through on Saturday.

Think we'll get beat by a couple of goals unfortunately. Can't say I'm positive about the future either.
