For a possession team, our passing is fucking shocking.

First half, Carlisle were all over the place. Occasion got to then. You wonder how much that save from Banks' shot could come back to haunt us?
Second half, fuck me it was like the occasison got to us. It's like we play football with no purpose, we had a few shots go wide but had no conviction when we crossed the halfway line. Carlisle's subs seemed to improve and settle them, and we were very fortunate in the end they didn't connect properly with any of the balls or crosses in the box.
And FFS,how fucking often do we instantly lose possession from a throw in? And even worse when it's against 1 opposing player?
I hope we don't go there and just defend it.

2nd half was awful. Only their woeful end product saved us. I'm not sure what Osadebe is, we were down to 10 men when he came on, awful player.
That said we're 1-0 up but we have to buck our fucking ideas up to get owt at their place.

His game seems to revolve around trying to win the ball back after he's lost it and that's all. Also, I can't believe the times we play total hospital passes and lose the ball, usually from overplaying it in a situation where there nothing on and we out of no where give it away in an awful position.

That goal means that Hughes will tell them that if we keep a clean sheet up there we go to Wembley. It'll be more of the same backs to the wall stuff and I don't think that we're good enough to do it.

They were the better team and had more chances than us. We’ll lose 2-0 at their place.
Oh and Joe Garner is a right little c*nt.

The Sky commentator summed us up in the second half with this description:
'Once again Bradford give the ball away and once again invite pressure onto themselves.'

Early Carlisle goal next Saturday we get swamped They will start the game as it finished tonight knowing we can't defend set pieces Carlisle learnt a lot about us tonight we learned nothing Why we sat back on a 1-0 is beyond reason it hasn't worked all season We simply stopped playing again!!!!!

It'll be more of the same backs to the wall stuff and I don't think that we're good enough to do it. A different (better?) manager pushes on when we go 1-0 up and Carlisle are clearly rattled. Try and settle the tie, push for 2 or 3, use the atmosphere to your advantage. Instead we're lucky to come away with a win and like you say on Saturday we'll be defending from minute one and won't be set up to react to the inevitable goal we concede.

The Sky commentator summed us up in the second half with this description: 'Once again Bradford give the ball away and once again invite pressure onto themselves.' Once again Hughes teamtalk at half time was to tell them to back off don't chase them let our defence head it away. As soon as we do this the concentration stops and we start making avoidable mistakes and invite the pressure. Thought Carlisle were poor and never felt they would score, but they will up there. Fingers crossed we send Osadebe to scout the other game and keep him away from our 18....He's terrible

We need a draw, so knowing Hughes he will send us out to draw the game at Carlisle and I have shown no reason this season why we would go out and get it.
We can't defend, we look far better on the front foot but we won't play that way. Leyton Orient, Crewe, Northampton, Gillingham, all recent examples of us getting a goal to either pull it back or take the lead then turn into a team that just sit off teams and invite them on.
I hope I am proven wrong but I doubt we will hold them out for longer than 25min up there by inviting them on.

Us paying money for Osadebe is karma coming back for us getting a fee out of Oldham for Joe Colbeck.
If Hughes goes up there for a draw we'll crumble and concede three or more. As Lofty said, if we have a better manager then we go into the next game with a bigger lead.

If Hughes goes there to defend a one goal lead despite all the evidence from this season showing that it isn’t a good idea then he wants horsewhipping and running out of town.

Carlisle were strong and whilst they're good at set plays, our defending was amateur. They had a solid pattern of play and knocked ball around well. They had 3/4 good chances, perhaps more.
Stubbs did well, midfield was leggy. Smallwood is terrible.
Gilled totally anonymous.
Cook ran all day but not much support. City gave the ball away time and again, pathetic hoof ball.
Osadebe was terrible. Half knocked out Walker was more effective.

Carlisle were terrible until they took Omari Patrick off. If they start with him and that little ginger shite Garner up front we’ve got a chance. But if they play actual footballers then we’re going to get humped 3-0.

Derbyshire has a bit of a football brain and actually puts in some effort. He should have come on for Walker rather than Osadebe yesterday.
Hughes looks clueless at times to what everyone else can see. We got away with one yesterday despite Hughes not because of him. He can't see changes that need making and just continues with what we have set up with from the outset until the shit hits the fan. He is reactive rather than proactive.

He brought Osadebe on for legs but he's just not right and should have been put away for next season. Might as well play Bola left wing we've tried everyone else there
