If we sacked Hughes, do we think Rupp would get rid of Sparks?
Only joking, he doesn't give a fuck.

Yeah the whole "i stumbled across Hughes' application after checking the junk-mail" story doesn't exactly smack of professionalism on Sparks' part. Not that i'm defending Hughes, but he did mumble something about our playing budget not being as big as is made out in one of his recent interviews. I suppose he'd argue our league position is roughly in line with that. It seems to be the annual spunk what budget we have on a couple of high earners... at least one of which is inevitably shit or injured... and fill the gaps with shite, loans and gambles. Absolutely no discernible blueprint despite all the marketing bs. Another thing i don't get is the Pereira situation... The way he came back with all the fanfare then barely got a sniff... which lead to Luton bitching about our setup in one of the tabloids. Surely we wouldn't freeze him out just to be petty, would we? At least he's half capable of retaining possession unlike the headless chickens who are above him in the pecking order I genuinely can’t work out if Rupp has given him fuck all to spend or if Hughes just hasn’t signed well enough. I seriously doubt Rupp’s given him the biggest budget in the division. I know people are hard on our running in treacle captain but I think he and Lewis were good signings. It’d be interesting to see whether Osadebe was one of the big signings too, and we’ll never know how he’d have gone after that Doncaster cunt broke his leg 20 minutes into the season. Yeah Lewis has been a pleasant surprise… if we keep him then future potential captain material Last season’s hype signings seemed to be Walker, Smallwood, Cook (new contract) and maybe Chapman and Odusina. Seems to remember Osadebe came with mixed reviews… good on his day but inconsistent. TBH i’ve not seen the ‘good side’… just seems to flap about a lot chasing the ball after giving it away… if i was been charitable then he shows effort… the best i’ve seen him play is the few minutes before that thug snapped his leg. Its hard to gauge how much the injury has affected his game

Never forget that Hughes saw fit to bench this lad for a decent portion of the season.

Dogshit from top to bottom. This all comes from Rupp. He needs to fuck off and fuck off now.
Any other club we’d be protesting outside the ground. But our fans still defend him.
Was arguing with one throbber on Threads who reckons I should go support someone else if I don’t like it. I reckon the gompy fucker is right. I’m just glad my Man City supporting boss is on holiday in Canada for the next two weeks.

Get this fraud out and take that silly ginger recruitment cunt with him If Hughes goes Sparks has to go otherwise the cycle of failure continues. It's looking like it could be another disaster of an appointment - and who would have thought coming from the marketing manager with no football background whatsoever.

He needs to go no doubt about it - he’s clueless, but the whole regime couldn’t run a bath. Like Tetchy says Rupp needs ousting and Sparks needs to go back to the commercial department.

We need some proper football people in the building. Leyton orient bringing in Jackett and Ling for example, something we should be doing. Instead we've got a bloke who was running the Twitter account as CEO.

Changing a solid back four which was the best part of our team last year to that clusterfuck of three CBs is a sacking offence in itself. Then you’ve got the Taylor signing - again it’s a sacking offence in itself for whoever made that call.

Mood on Twitter since Saturday suggests his days are numbered already. Dissension from lots of unlikely sources and is far more widespread than just the usual cynics/realists like us. Even McKeown having a dig at the "you're not a proper supporter" morons, and WOAP's match report pulled no punches on the recruitment/playing system shambles.
Will he even make it to the FA Cup first round?

Tell you what, for a side that ‘didn’t need wholesale changes’ were fucking miles off. I’m seriously starting to question Hughes’ judgement.

The longer that he persists with this defensive set up despite not having the players to play it then the more he deserves to be sacked.
As I said on Saturday, the Ash Taylor signing and the dismantling of last years strong defence are unforgivable in themselves too.

He'll be under massive pressure if August is a shitshow. Full away ends at Stockport and Morcambe won't take any shit if we're served it, neither at Masfield at start of September.
He's only got 2 home games in this first month and he can't afford any dumbfuck performances like trying to see out a 1-0 for 70 minutes.
The transfer window was like McCall 2020, everyone knows it's grossly inadequate and Hughes hasn't got any rep at for bringing the best out of his outfield signings.
It could well be a complete disaster if it doesn't click quickly. Changing a settled defence, albeit with a mistake on them, will probably be the cause of any downfall.
