Vernam’s a player and anyone who can’t see it is a twat. Never looks like he has the ball under control, always one touch away from losing it.

Might as well fuck this off and get someone to take one for the team and two foot Josh Wright into next week.

Still only four points if we lose, huge huge let off but also would be a massive chance pissed up the wall

My piss will be truly boiling if we lose to these useless cunts. Literally throwing away a chance to get out of this fucking shit division.

All our subs seem to be like for like. 1-0 down at home to shite like Crawley and with other results going our way you’d think would be the ideal time to go for it. Formational subs don’t seem to happen under these two. They’ll play a different formation in game for short periods and with the existing personnel but they don’t seem to be able to make tactical changes to our set up via substitutions in reaction to the situation. It’s always back to the same formation.

Like Kiwomya said, why didn't we start the game trying to play more at this pace?
2-0 goodnight. Not good enough, not enough threat, not enough energy.
Too pissy weak going forward across the team. Crawley haven't won in 8 and we've fannied about all night.
This is basically Grimsby - only difference then was the fortuitous goal and sending off going our way. No luck tonight.

Said it before and will again, these two won't last further than Christmas. They aren't the ones to get us up because they are incapable of setting a side up to attack.

The Bowyer-esque levels of cautiousness will turn fans on them quicker than anything else. They can't drift through first halves trying to keep it tight, especially at home. Imagine if fans were in the grounds - they would have groaned for most of Saturday and they would have turned on that approach tonight.

Truly fucking deflating this game. Truth is without Callum Cooke this lot ain't good enough. It really is, morecambe apart everything went our way. We should be 8th and looking threatening to the 4 teams above us but that result has killed us. The thing is we've been shit a lot lately so its been coming. T&S have done a great job but now look clueless and out of ideas. A play off push is not the time to be starting 18 year old kids unless they're very talented and these aren't. Evans is inexplicably still picked every game and how Watt gets anywhere on that team sheet is beyond me let alone put on dead balls. One particular thing that worries me is that not one of these players looks to be improving their own ability under the coaching of these 2.

They didn’t park the bus, they were coming at us and we tried to soak up the pressure. Against a 10 man bottom of the league side. Could have got the pace on after HT and gone for them. Get a few goals, boost confidence, reduce goal difference. These two have done a great job turning us around but they are more cautious than Parky.

I said that a few posts back - only difference was on Saturday at 0-0 their defender heads the ball to O'connor and he taps in. Tonight he scuffs it wide from the same position. But as I said, being ultra cautious will turn fans quickly. Look at Bowyer's last 10 games or so, he couldn't spawn the 1-0s like he did before and it turned toxic. Crawley to their credit didn't try and ruin the game as I thought they would.
