Posh letting some quality go: Woodyard and Cooke would compliment each other perfectly and would solve half our midfield problems. That would just leave the right back and forward line problems but it’d be a massive step.

With each day just blending into each other and absolutely nothing else to do I've now finalised the ins and outs Stuart should be doing.
Out: Guthrie Pritchard
In: Cooke Alex Woodyard Duncan Whatmore Jack Baldwin Sam Mantom Levi Sutton Jordy Hiwula/Ollie Palmer Left winger but fuck knows who
There's no way we will try for any except Sutton but all of these should be on the list and would suit a McCall team and should be right up there next season.

Woodyard would be the most Gary Jones like player we’ve had since Gary Jones. He was touted for big money at Lincoln, went to Posh and lost his way a bit but wasn’t an automatic pick. Right at his peak at twenty seven and would play week in, week out here.
This is exactly the sort of player we should be looking at. Players who have proven themselves at this level, have a reason beyond their control for going off the boil and still of a good age.
Bet we sign a rapidly plummeting spent force instead and laud them as ‘experienced’ *cough* Donaldson *cough*.

Stuart is using his own personal WyScout subscription. You see how tinpot and amateur that sounds?. Maybe we could have a whip round and buy him a copy of Football Manager? He’ll have to use his own computer though. Not a fucking charity.

We wanted Hiwula in January but he was one of the many players who told Bowyer to fuck off. God knows how far down the list he was but he was obviously well above Guthrie who was the last minute desperado signing after everyone else told us to do one.
Hiwula would be just the pace up front that we need and Stuart liked him. I rated him too even though he couldn’t finish a wank.

Woodyard and Cooke would be 👌 as a midfield pairing in a McCall team in league two. Sutton would be a decent choice at RB.

Don't rate Woodyard at all. I thought it would be the subhuman scum clip when I first saw it.

Guthrie has to go down as one of the most embarrassing moments in our January transfer history. It summed up how little anyone behind the scenes actually gives a shit.

Was decent enough in his first spell and ended up our top scorer I think and we're desperate for some pace among the OAPs upfront. Out of interest, did he tell Bowyer or the club to fuck off?

Am I the only one who doesn’t want Hiwula back? His stats since leaving us read 12 in 53, 13 in 43 and 4 in 18. Guess it’s the still better than 1 in 5 Donaldson or 5 goals a season Guthrie but he’s hardly a must sign is he.

Got into good positions but wasted chance after chance, so effectively next to useless.

I wasn't a massive fan of him but at league 2 level with more experience under his belt he should be good enough and there's very little quality out there up front

Never mind the 9 out of 10 chances they miss. Don't you go getting ideas above your station and thinking about those 25-30 goal strikers. They aren't for the likes of us, what with them costing money, costing more in wages etc. Might upset the dressing room, and what if they break their leg? Money down the drain. Like the freak who prefered a young loanee over an established striker with a pedigree.
