I pray for the end of this virus if only to save us from online quizzes put together by effectively now unemployed cunts working from home with no discerning skills other than to talk bollocks. Twitter can be a side splittingly funny place but at the moment its being ruined by stay at home twats.

I'm loving this social distancing. It's been my life long dream to have an excuse to stay away from people.

Don’t know who from here liked this but it’s bang on the money: T'was me your honour. I read it after listening to the latest update from Boris and his experts. The way the journos were questioning not just Boris but also the experts was arrogant, aggresive and completely dismissive of any of the experts answers, its the same sort of questioning every time from the same hacks. Being asked questions that can't be answered yet due to the unique situation but then being ridiculed for not answering them.

Forty three deaths? Is this figure right? Why’s so low if so? An anomaly that fucks the modelling or a pointer?

Forty three deaths? Is this figure right? Why’s so low if so? An anomaly that fucks the modelling or a pointer? Theres still little data, and it's too early in the infection curve to know. Theres a graph here which shows the number of deaths in Italy by day. When they were in at the level of infections and deaths we're seeing, they saw days where the number of deaths dropped. But it's a lagging measure. From infection to death you're probably looking at somewhere in the region of a week? And today we've had our biggest infection jump. But it's all guesswork because increasingly, it looks like it may have been broken out earlier than expected and we may have large amounts of asymptomatic cases. What seems weird to me is how certain regions and cities have been ravaged and some arent. New York is being fucked dry. www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/italy/

I’m seeing plenty of pointers to this not planning out anywhere near as bad as the early predictions.

London will be the big one. It's the densely populated areas that can get out of control quickly. If we stay on top of it there, hopefully this thing will be done sooner than we feared. We probably wont know for a week or two though.

We probably wont know for a week or two though. Seeing the footage of public transport in London even since lockdown, then there won't be much slowing down in the rate of infection down there. With zero real restrictions on travel all that infection is free to travel around the country.
