We look a lot better in midfield with both the O Briens than we did with Wright and Akpan. They should be our first choice partnership moving forward. Wood also gets stuck in and is an improvement on Chicksen. The positives end there as we still look poor at the back and have no end product up front. You'd think Payne would be the missing link but he's too greedy and gives the ball away in key positions. I can see him being hit and miss. Overall, an improvement on recent performances but a long way to go.

The pulse want 'more of the same' next week.
A loss?
Fucking hell I've been listening to this post match bollocks and you'd have thought we'd have won if you didn't know the score already.

Overall, an improvement on recent performances but a long way to go. That is spot on. The fact we played a lot better but still offered no goal threat just shows how bad we actually were. O’Brien was rightly man of the match for doing what we expected Wright and Akpan to do, just move and tackle. This club is unfortunately still in deep shit, the back three at times look hopeless and we’ve gone 9 league and cup games without a striker scoring a goal that wasn’t a penalty.

Social media today just shows you the sheer amount of fucking idiots we have as fans. We have fans that are actually happy we lost and the performance showed an improvement. We lost by a goal away last week and lost by 2 at home this week you absolute set of fucktard !!!
Starting to think it's time to give up, how can you enjoy football when those alongside you have zero ambition zero winning mentality and zero idea of COMPETITIVE sport. These people don't deserve to share my oxygen and deserve to fuck off into watching kids sports days and cheering the little fat ones in to last place

Lyle Taylor bullied us all game. He was on the TCA transfer committee target list too I think?
We were poor. They were the better side. Despite playing 5 at the back we still look flakey back there. Didn’t really create much, didn’t give our strikers much chance to score. Wood does actually look better than gok wan.
Whilst the older O’Brien looked to be not lacking in effort or commitment he did lack quality. Caught out of position, caught out trying fancy turns.
With no injuries we’ve a half decent 11 and half a bench. But if we continue to turn in performances like that it’s hard to see where the points will come from. Both thier goals they seemed to have so much time and space to shoot, despite us having 3 centre backs.
We’re a long way from safety.

Cullen did nowt did he? The fact that he's back in league one was backed up by a performance where he was anonymous against a journeyman Scots hobo and a ginger kid from Huddersfield.

Wood and the O'Briens seem to be an improvement on the absolute dogshit we've had at full back and CM up to now. That's as positive as I can manage.
Our defence is so bad though; NKP's always worried me but at the moment O'Connor and McGowan are almost making him look good. They were both poor today. And in attack, well Doyle looks alright but he gets fuck all service. We looked alright going forward but once we got in and around their box there was no cutting edge, I can only remember their keeper making one save.

No disguising the fact we are in deep shit. I enjoyed today for the fact i didn’t have watch Wright, Akpan or Mellor. Of our two midfielders, one was unwanted and the other had about 20 minutes of first team football yet both looked better than the rest of the shit in the squad. Can’t fault the fans today, they got behind the team but god knows where the goals are coming from. The gompers are still in denial though if they think this team is pulling out of the shit any time soon.

You know 'we're too good to go down' isn't far away.
I fucking despair at the times when today is called a 'great' performance. That is full on gomping toward relegation. If it wasn't for those hard tackles and the business with HopkinS getting booked fans would have turned on them.
Sorry, I must have looked away all those times we bombarded their goal or created chance after chance.
And you know McGowan and O'Connor are easily capable of running into each other, or both running in opposite directions. A calamity waiting to happen.
Even the radio highlights were us included a collection of our tackles - you can't make that shit up.
And yeah Doyle - I like him but he gets nothing to work with. The Pulse were putting their propaganda on it by saying how he holds the ball, comes back to help out, tries to win could etc.
How many efforts has he had today? And all season? But don't worry, he can win a free kick now and then.

Overall, an improvement on recent performances but a long way to go. Agree with this 100%. The midfield is far more solid, although that isn't necessarily a point of honour given how utterly useless we’ve been there so far. There is still a worrying lack of anything in the final third and the constant pumping of high balls is mystifying. I did see Kai win a header so it’s not all bad. Payne thinks he’s far better than he is and needs to realise he’s in a shit division with shit players. There are green shoots of hope after only a week but for people who genuinely believe that performance replicated over the season is going to keep us up there’s disappointment ahead. All we can hope is that Hopkin can spend on his choice of players in the window, otherwise we will definitely be fucked, as opposed to the probable at the minute.

Well it was better so I suppose that's a positive.
The O'Brien duo were decent, better than the Essex ponce and Pogba wannabe.
Wood was also decent so hopefully we've seen the last of Chickshit.
Brunker was as fucking useless as he usually is. Cunts around me applauding the donkey after he shoved one of their pussys over. Forgetting the fact he didn't even touch the ball during the time he was on. But at least uncle Edin will be happy after his too lovechildren got game time. Oh and I'll predict Isherwood will be even shitter than Brunker.
Best part of the game for me was turning round at half time only to see Izzy Pitts sat two rows behind. What a stunner.

How damning of our first choice midfield is it that we can pick up a Ross County reject and a kid from Huddersfield U23’s and they’re better players? I think we’d actially struggle to make worse signings if that were our aim.
Still, so long as they’re a bit quicker than Abbott was and they bring something different to the squad then we’re in clover.

You cant make this shit up, we had one fucking shot on target. One fucking shot FFS. At what point do we have to be when the gompers finally admit we are in a relegation battle. Maybe when we are ten points adrift at the bottom but even then you would get the gompers not admitting defeat because its still ‘mathematically possible’ to stay.
