I may have started up the Hanson debate again. Abbomf and Lone Tenor been suckered in on the general football thread.

Hanson's replacement isn't doing too bad is he? I know who I prefer out of the 2! With 3 goals and 2 assists he's probably contributed just as much as JH did in half a season.

Best bit of business we'll ever do. Wyke is so far ahead of little Jimmy in every department. Already looking like he's the striker we've been looking for.

I don't want to get carried away but the early signs are very promising. If we fail to get promoted we will be in a much better position at the start of next season than we were this season with Wyke leading the line as opposed to JH. If Jones turns out to be a good signing we've got a potentially lethal combination up front and our goal scoring issues may finally be a thing of the past.

It's like Groundhog Day. Reading that makes me even happier we shipped him out (if that's even possible). Jones and Wyke have the potential to make us forget about Hanson's turgid, lumbering brand of football. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Jones will be a big player for us, some had already wrote him off on t'other forum. Has good close control and a shoot on sight policy. Wyke too, didn't have a lot to do yesterday but what he did was decent. Really unlucky with a glancing header that went wide.
