1. Wait for a little while to let the dust settle. Meanwhile, lots of top candidates will be hurling their names into a large hat, grateful for the opportunity to work with such footballing visionaries.
2. Appoint the best candidate, i.e. the one who will work for next to nothing and accept a matching budget.
3. Trust Edin. He knows..., apparently.
4. Get Dick’n’Dom on board with a 'hilarious' bantz session live on something, somewhere.
5. Call for a fans forum and deliver 30 mins worth of mea culpa, bullshit and #believe platitudes whilst handing out free beer and pies.
This 3 year plan malarkey is easy, Championship next year. Guaranteed.

We can't be too critical, they delivered Izzy Pitts and Panzer.

Just hope they actually have a plan. Wrong decisions from now until the window shuts and we could be bottom of the league by Christmas. By then even the Gompers will see it.
We’re two thirds through the three year Championship plan and are actually further away than when they started it. They must be able to see that? You can’t accumulate that kind of personal fortune by being a moron.
They can take comfort though in the fact that when we do go down at least we did it on the cheap unlike Bury. German efficiency innit.

They also helped deliver a couple of postponements, thus consolidating Lofty's position as thecowsarse nostradamus of weather.

German efficiency innit. Do you reckon? The Gomper Army will probably cite when we had to apply for re-election to the league as being a far worse time and congratulate them for 'living within our means' when there's 2,000 in the ground for a league game against BPA. Neither Rupp or Rahic must be stupid to have amassed such wealth. Although people can sometimes get lucky, then attribute it to their own brilliance rather than good fortune, never have that same luck again and end up where they started. Rahic strikes me as being particularly dangerous because I think he's massively stubborn, doesn't like being challenged and would rather see us go under than admit that he's totally fucking it up. Rupp seems far saner and not a weaponised cunt from what I've seen. But he has gone into this with Rahic, so his judgement can't be foolproof. I expect he can afford to blow what he's invested and not lose any sleep. I just don't think he's ultimately that bothered what happens and it's already been more of a pain than he wanted. I saw a rumour on Twitter that Mason's been approached by Plymouth about becoming their new CEO. As much as I've taken the piss out of Mason in the past, he's infinitely preferable to Rahic being given free reign on a day to day level.

Tbh they both came across as being pretty deluded on that Matter of Heart DVD. As much as I've taken the piss out of Mason in the past, he's infinitely preferable to Rahic being given free reign on a day to day level. Reading between the lines of Wetherby Whaler's comments on the new C&B, it seems like part of Mason's job might now be undoing damage caused by Rahic. "he is a good guy who has done a first rate job in increasingly difficult circumstances"; "I fear many on here do not realise how hard his job has been for the last 12 months. Your work is really cut out when people are about to pull the plug because they no longer feel valued, feel a disconnect, feel the Club is regressing, etc"

Roger and Mittons go way back.

I hope Rupp took a look at the league table as it finished while making his statement. 8 points off the plays and a goal difference -17 behind the playoffs, at least -30 behind the likes of Shrewsbury and Rotherham, the 7th worst goal difference in the division. Fucking depressing that.

I can see the pre season being a total disaster.

I can see the pre season being a total disaster. I might not have mentioned this before but I haven't renewed. This means I can take some sort of perverse pleasure in the clusterfuck that's coming this pre-season and that I can mock you guys mercilessly as mugs.

£169 you mugs have paid. Next season will cost me around £20 to get in against Sunderland at home. Bargain.

I wonder if at the time Rahic and Rupp came in with their offer, Lawn and Rhodes knew that Edin was going to appoint himself as Director Of Football? Did he make this clear from the get-go?

Rhodes stayed on afterwards in an advisory capacity. It didn’t last long. If they didn’t know when they sold it then it can’t have taken long to figure it out while watching Edin at work. By then it’s too late though. They saw pound signs and sold, I doubt they looked into Edin’s character or intentions too deeply at all.

To be fair they'd waited that long for a buyer they aren't going to ask too many questions. Lawn being a fan can't be happy the way it's bring run, but don't think Rhodes will be too fussed.

Yeah I suppose. There was also the long courtship with the dodgy Italian bloke who had form for foul play with football where we only didn't sell because he couldn't stump up the cash. Shame that the incumbents of the board rooms at VP are as tinpot as the rest of the place.
