Anyone know hoe far through the transfer window we are now, is it a quarter? its the 15th of June. It shuts earlier from this season, Train. Fucking about early isn’t an option any more.

Found a BBC piece saying 9th August is the cut-off, so it's about 3 weeks early (we'll still be able to sign unregistered players and loanees until 31 August).

Starts 17th May, ends 9tg August. We're 29 days into, I make it, an 84 day window.
So a third of the transfer window with no head coach appointed.
I cant see it not being Rahic now.

Was wondering if O'Connor had played under JF Hasselbaink at Burton. But don't think they were there at the same time.
Did notice that on O'Connor's Wiki, when he was playing for Plymouth, his then manager John Sheridan was singing his praises.
Assuming that this new gaffer is being consulted on signings and a foreign manager won't have a clue who someone like O'Connor is.

The one saving grace with Ferguson would be some loans from ManU. Who was it that had several United players on loan, sacked Ferguson and they recalled all the loans?

If we give it to Ferguson it'll make all Edin's talk of taking time to get the right man look like yet more first degree cuntery. We know the model needs a head coach, we're supposed to be doing it right this time and out we go and bag yet another traditional British manager. It's another fall out waiting to happen.

My problem with Edin is that he's showing all the traits of someone who's blagging his way through. He actually doesn't know what we need, but he's too arrogant to ask advice. He's fortunate that he's chosen an industry where you we could wheel barrow 11 turnips onto the pitch and we would still cheer them in the hope that they'd come good.

Whoever we do get will last longer than Bielsa at our chums in Beeston.

Only as long as they're triers and they put a shift in. If they've a modicum of talent but only play at 90% they're fucked.

How do you know they're strong until you've arm wrestled them? Being tall doesn't necessarily make you strong. Ian Ormondroyd was 7ft 3in but was weak as fuck, whereas Robbie Blake was the shape of a Wheelie Bin but could bench press Geoffrey Richmond.

Being tall brings presence. Presence is like the force. Tallness also brings danger. Tall players are dangerous.
