How do a tinpot team like Northampton get 1.5M for Sponsership but a club with our fanbase as big as ours (in comparison to Northampton) get only 500k? It doesn't make much sense to me. Did Northampton just get lucky or is 1.5M the standard going rate for sponsorship in this division? If it is Rahic has every right to question the amount we're getting paid. I agree. People moaning that reduced ST sales will affect sponsorship are kind of missing the point. Our 'sponsors' are fucking us over as it is if what you say is true. I'm not an Edin fanboy by any means. I just get the feeling he has disturbed the hornets nest 'boys club' and, lets just say, they're not very happy about it. Edin's 'business within a business' quote hinted at what was going on

Personally I don't imagine these figures are 100% accurate however the guy who told me works within this field at another football club so I imagine he'd have a very good idea.

If that's the case then we're all happy when a new sponsor comes along paying more (£). He'd be daft not to look at it.
I think for the renewals, another point is how many are Kids. Over's, 25 years etc? All paying discounted / lower rates too....

Does anyone know what the final season ticket total is? The club have been very quite on it.

Does it say anything about refunds?

To me this says they've given Grayson the budget he wants and are now trying to level up the gap in the figures

A sensible decision. Show intent in terms of manager, budget and signings and I'll renew.
A good move and one heavily pushed by Mason I would imagine.

How much of our business do we usually have done by the end of the new deadline?

With shitface Rahic maintaining his silence, I can't help feeling Rupp has flown in to sort some shite out and using the business nouse that made him a rich man and is possibly listening to Mason more than Mr Ego

How much of our business do we usually have done by the end of the new deadline? In most seasons not many, although astonishingly by the end of June last year we'd already signed Chicksen, Poleon, Reeves, Taylor and Mcarten. That isn't the norm though, I suppose players become easier to sign when they are shit.

I wonder if Grayson is going to be announced as manager and then we’re going to get one of those “buy your season tickets to back Grayson with a promotion budget” PR campaigns that Mason loves.

Appointing Grayson for next season could help sell more season tickets. Hopefully a deal has already been agreed and that's the reason why they've chosen to extend the deadline

It would certainly help.
You have to wonder if Rupp has had a look over things and then battered Edin, as it would have been perfect to relaunch this last night?

Annoying for those people who paid 199 that they are now back to 169.
