I've posted the same titled thread on C & B but i want see what peoples views are on here, see if they differ from the other side. I've read some views already, i think they need an increase as i don't see where extra income from players can come from. I can't see how fans can't afford an increase, you can't keep them at £149 forever when other costs go up. It's clear our budget is not amongst the highest in the division, how do we go about adding qualityto the squad if our wage budget can't accommodate it.

If it means a higher budget and better players I'd be happy to pay a bit extra, but as things stand i'd keep it as it,as the chances of it generating more revenue are slim. if we raise ticket prices by £50-100 but crowds drop by 6-7 thousand (the most likeliest outcome), are we going to have more money to work with? Probably not.

This would be a terrible time to do it; I'm sensing an air of being jaded in the crowd and there's still a wariness towards the new owners.
If they want to get their money back the best, and safest, way to do it is to invest in the playing squad. Short term it would bring in higher transfer fees for players (assuming they don't totally fuck up recruitment *cough* Greg Abbott *cough*). Longer term it should, in theory, bring a higher league standing and all the attendant higher incomes that go with it.
Asking the fans to pay before you've totally won their trust is a dangerous game.

I'm not paying extra. They haven't been prepared to. Why should I?

They could put em up to a grand or down to a tenner, I’m not arsed as I doubt it’ll affect me. Contemplating a flexi next year if they still exist

I'm not paying extra. They haven't been prepared to. Why should I? Boom. Dead right. I run my finances like a business. I could pay more and go to the theatre or cinema, but for me it's about value for money. I have a plan etc etc

Too simplistic to increase prices. Less would buy, less would spend money on replica kit/food and drink/suite upgrades etc etc. Potentially lost income on sponsorship and advertising as less eyes would be on the product.
And it’s not as if they’d spend the increased budget the change in price would bring so fuck that.

Hopefully they'll put an extra £100 on entry to the Bantams Bar. It's like a fucking holding pen forthe Jeremy Kyle show.

Should have cashed in lat year when we weren't as shit at home. Home form currently is the average of teams a few places about the relegation zone.
Mason said fans are free to voluntarily pay more but unless you have everyone doing it what's the point?

We've got Charlie sat near us now, the highlight of going to VP this season.

I'd love one day for the opposition keeper to drag him over the hoardings and give him a fucking hiding in the back of the net.

I don't know how someone hasn't tried to kill him.
