Plymouth pissed me off a bit because it was just so feeble. Peterborough I felt like you, just inured to it. In a way that made it worse because if I can't bring myself to get wound up about it then Ive basically stopped caring. I just don't fancy going to Oxford at home at all so probably won't. We don't need fans like you, go support Man City or something. It's not even like I ask much. I mean, I'm not gomper level in my rush to excuse dogshit but a good performance once in a while wouldn't go amiss. Even having a player who would have you think, 'we've got a potential star here' would go a long way to alleviating my apathy but we've got nothing. We do nothing. If I want to watch possession for possession's sake I'd have a grin like Saville at a cub scout's jamboree, but I don't. I want to see a better level of entertainment. I want some cutting edge. I want a clear style and gameplan and I want an attitude about us that has us all, players and fans, genuinely expecting a win occasionally. Instead we get ninety minutes of aimless passing, lots of trusting to hope, over-respecting the opposition, cautious football and a neurotic focus on possession. It's wank and I'm bored.

"Trusting to hope" - sums it up. The number of times I watch the footballl highlight shows and see other teams win by 5, 6, 7 each week... Why can't we do that - just once. Just fucking kill someone - I think we've scored 5 once under McCall and that was in his previous spell and once or twice under Parkinson. I've never seen us score 6 and it's nearly 25 years since that.

Can't disagree with any of that. Truth is we have improved in the table every season since we came up. But there's something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. The atmosphere is dire at home, doesn't help with the terrible record, but it feels toxic. There's a feeling of resignation that we aren't going anywhere. If Rahic opens the chequebook in January it might change the atmosphere but there's an air of disappointment and it makes for a poor atmosphere.

The atmosphere changed when Nahki was sold for a pittance to the dog botherers, I don’t think it’s ever recovered! Add to that there are the same songs brought out on repeat every game then people get bored with it! I aren’t going to lie but I am getting bored of it in general, we aren’t going anywhere without some serious cash and even that would have us survive in the Championship by the skin of our teeth! We aren’t going to be in the Premier League and sell tickets for £1...you are talking shit Edin!

I said mid table and the way it's looked the last couple of week I'd say that's still possible
however, we are better placed than I expected and results have been better than anticipated. I think we can do enough to hold on to a top 6 place. not win them without the tight fisted kraut bastard opening his wallet, mind and actually using the deutschemarks in there to buy proven quality players in England rather than obscure German nobodies.
