It could happen. Can't see Rahic putting up with mediocrity for long.

It could happen. Can't see Rahic putting up with mediocrity for long. Neither can I, but he needs to put his money where his mouth is and sign some quality. This is a shite league.

Where's the attractive attacking football?
Abbott needs binning off for making us shell out decent cash for McCartan and Poleon.

Spent all that money and we are worse than last season. I can feel a Marshall and Cullen thread coming along....

We've got the money but haven't spent it wisely. Half a million pound to bring in Mcarten, Reeves and Poleon.Let that sink in. 1 isn't proven at this level and the other 2 are standard league 1 players. We could have brought in 2 players of a similar standard to the above on a free transfer and spend the remaining 500k to bring in the game changer we are lacking.

McCall's biggest weakness is his constant overthinking the opposition threat. He needs to realise that letting them worry more about you and actually attacking a team might pay more dividends than constant fucking caution.
Mind you, if we're setting up safety first at home against bottom of the league then it's a forlorn hope that we're going to see him get his balls out at all this season. I'm starting to suspect that this is a direct result of McCall's failure last time and the effect it had on him. He's terrified of looking like the same naive manger he was last time and wants to appear like a man who knows his onions, out-thinks the opposition and puts out hard to beat teams. His personal pendulum has swung too far the other way and we're one fucking dull side to watch.
His philosophy on 4-4-2 is a perfect case in point. According to McCall playing this way with two wingers means your midfield two get overrun. Leaving aside the fact that preventing our midfield from suffering that fate has just led to us losing at home to the side bottom of the league leaves you wondering how it is that teams have played 4-4-2 for years without worrying about supporting your central two. Nor does it answer why it is that no other teams choose to play this frankly bizarre formation with what's effectively three centre mids and one right winger.
We've got two predominantly defensive central midfielders in Reeves and Vincelot so if ever a formation/selection would allow for two wingers ours would be it. Instead we insist on playing two defensive centre mids with one defensive winger supporting their defensive work and one outlet on the right. And people wonder why we're ponderous, short of ideas and inventiveness and slow to attack.
We're too fucking cautious and it bores me.

He spent all week telling us how Plymouth would sit back and we'd have to be patient.
Fuck that. They'll sit back so let's fucking attack the cunts. If we'd have gone 1-0 up early doors we'd have fucking murdered em.

He said after the game that Gilliead was benched today as Plymouth defend crosses well so low crosses were needed!?!
What kind of fucking dumb logic is that?
Here’s a fucking idea how about we play to our main goal scoring threat and play two fucking wingers to supply Charlie with multiple crosses...the constant overplaying when in a position to bang a cross in is infuriating and I can only think it’s an instruction from McCall.
Fuck my life that was awful today and it was all McCall’s fault to be honest...stop fucking tinkering!

Our good away form masks a lot of shit. And then we've had fortunate results - got away with it at Portsmouth and were handed it at MK dons.
Four defeats at home - all with us scoring zero - as unconvincing as you get. The only difference today was we conceded in the first half and it was so toothless McCall had no choice but change things earlier than after the usual 80 mins.
It's the same as last time as others have said. Worry worry worry about the opposition. It'll probably be his downfall again.
I think of the better teams in this division over the last few years - Sheff Utd, Bolton, Wigan etc - can you imagine them at the time they were in L1 setting up as we did today? Absolute zero fucking chance.

Twitter rumblings about him going to Rangers. Anything in it you #ITK types? I think the fact both Rangers and Scotland aren't naming a manager till the end of the season and Stuart is almost definitely leaving speaks volumes. I think there will be quite a few offers for him with them 2 and probably Aberdeen and Hearts making offers too. There was definite offers from them 2 this years.

Just seen a tall city player in a knee brace who shall remain nameless (he'll be back end of January he reckons), so I mentioned this, he looked pained and said he didn't know. make of that what you will. FWIW he can go for me.
