In before sandy.
More selection dilemmas than I think McCall's faced yet this year. Defence: Thompson pushing for a place at the expense of either NKP or Killgallon. Field should be a straight swap for Chiksen.
Midfield: Vince suspended; does he go like for like with Dieng and keep Law out on the left? Does Taylor start again? Any place for Gillead?
Up front Patrick must surely be dropped but for whom? Poleon is shite lately and Jones seems to have dropped below Nick Kitchen in the pecking order.
Whatever happens I think we'll lose this one. We're not as good as we think we are and we could well be starting that expected shitty run of form.

We're not as good as we think we are and we could well be starting that expected shitty run of form. What has been the strongest part of the team suddenly looks all over the place, that being the midfield three of Vincelot, Reeves and Law. The last two games we have been second best in the middle of the park. Dieng will come in for Vince. Possibly tempted to go for Gilliead and Taylor for some much needed creativity although Gilliead really needs to start showing an end product. Upfront god knows, Wyke has to play but who with? Patrick looks terrible and needs taking out of the firing line, fuck it, my heads gone all blank. I think we will get beat on Saturday and continue the run of shitty form that i thought would happen. I don't think we are as good as last year but McMahon's set pieces covered over that. I'm looking forward to the game, just for the fact the miserable bastard Ricc will be banging one off with Billy Clarke being back in town.

I don't care how we do it but this is a must win for me. Drop Law go real 4-4-2 with 2 out and out wingers and most of all stop that little ginger Irish cunt proving me wrong

Playing Hendie and Field in the same team would be a big risk so I'd play Thompson at Left Back. Taylor's scored two excellent goals now and he has pace, something which we don't want to lose up front now Poleon's hit a bad run of form. I'd play him up front with Wyke, not behind him but as part of a front 2. The rest of the team picks itself.

Personally...I think we're fucked.

We've been fortunate in that we've come up against some poor attacks recently - Doncaster and Oldham spring to mind - and have got lucky against teams with better forward lines having an off day (Rotherham, MK).
Following Bury our fortune's going to run out and Charltons attack will be far too much for our patched up side, whose biggest potential weakness was handling fast, energetic, strong strikers.
Goal aside on Tuesday we didn't really test the keeper much (again), and we are starting to let in too many shitty goals at the back.
I could see this being a 0-3 if our makeshift side doesn't click straight away.

We're getting beat. maybe the gompers will then start to accept that 1 point from a possible 9 is garbage, especially when two of those teams are Bury and Oldham. and 2 home games out of the three.
Dieng in for Vincelot. Killa for Chicksen. and I hope to god we don't go with the 433 system again.
Looking forward to my mate Billy putting us to the sword with a brace, and a MOTM performance. then giving Edin the finger during his celebration.
I might not actually be able to attend, be gutted to miss it.

I’d back us to lose all day long for this one but Charlton have injury problems of their own so I’m going 2-2 draw.

I'm glad Marshall's not playing, by far our best player last season.

Marshall definitely out? Not a ruse to get our hopes up only to have them quashed, like football imitating real life.
Clarke will score. I'm putting real money on it.
