2-0 Vincelot. Tart has the right of it! Your mate McMahon's corners seem to be decent today.

Another McMahon assist. Always said he was brilliant. Give him a 5yr deal.

Time to bring three kids on and take three attackers off to see out the game.

Cracking result that, beat Oxford and Rovrum and I might get excited

Cracking result that, beat Oxford and Rovrum and I might get excited I've been as negative as anyone this year (with the notable exception of old 147) but that's an impressive result. Not only the scoreline but the manner of the victory. By all accounts we were good value for it so there's no arguing today. There's a long season to come so we'll see in the long run but there's definite promise as of right now. Two or three more players of quality added before the window shut and we'd be in with a strong shout here. As it is I think there'll be patches of indifferent form along the way. We shall see, but it's moving from 'disappointing' to 'intriguing' for me.

Rahic in.
McCall in.
Even Law is worthy of his place at the moment.
Shame about the impending world ending and all that as stuff is looking up.

The last 2 games have me thinking 'we could actually do something' We're miles better going forward. Chicksen is shit though. And we lack depth. Take vincelot, Wyke and Reeves out and we'd suffer. Fair johns though. We have more about us than I thought - but FFS, play to our strengths and keep a bit of consistency in team selection.

Lets not start whacking them off - while an impressive result away at a previously unbeaten side, realistically it was 2 set pieces and a keeper flap that helped us to it.
I recall 4 other goals in the league scored from them. So yeah, great we are scoring from them, but can't be something we rely on. We still managed to let in another shitty goal as well.
It was a good result, but not a sparkling performance.
I want a win on Tuesday. None of this 'happy with a point', 'youd take 4 points from 2 away games' 'it's a difficult place to go'.

Somebody even mentioned that 3 points from the two away games would be a good haul. Just sums the majority of City fans up, just happy to have a team to support.

On the plus side it looks like all this negativity isn't affecting the boys despite what we were told. You live and learn.

That was positive. you'll have me sucking them off on their twitter accounts the way things are going Theres a poster who called me a tosser on C & B the other day , he's one of those who cups the players twitter balls while sucking them dry. Reminds me of the Partridge scene where he goes back to his "number 1 fans" house with the Irish TV producers and his "number 1 fan."

For one night only Matthew, I was a gomper last night. Had a cracking night in the pub with me mates, we were all talking City up and reckoned this could be our year. Won £50 on an Acca after Stoke held Man United, then went home and put a right shift in on the Mrs.
Then this morning, I've made her a brew, taken it to her in bed and bigged myself up. 'Hey, last night was a good un wasn't it'. Dead straight, she looks me in the eye, winks and says 'yeah, you were half decent. For a change'.
Pissed right on my chips has that.
