Anyone into horror films?
Quite partial myself to a decent 70's / 80's flick.
Just watching The Fog (1980).

Thirteen Ghosts always shits me up but only because the first time I watched it was with some mates when we were all stoned. A couple of the lads left half way through but waited 20 mins before banging on the house windows. How I didn't die of fright that night I'll never know.

The hammer house of horror boxset is brilliant. Tales of the Unexpected used to shit me up big style when I was young. One of the best episodes. Deffo worth a watch.

There was some freaky shit on those shows. The original Friday the 13th and the first nightmare on elm street were good for shock value.

Modern horrors are mostly gash.
I'm partial to a bit of Vampire activity (not Twilight) so like..
Vampires - shit acting but James Woods is cool as fuck and the end scene is mint. 30 Days of Night Fright Night (original)
Not a horror as such but Dog Soldiers is worth a watch.

There's hardly any modern horrors that I like. I 'd rather have suspense like The Omen, Halloween etc. Not into vampires myself although was raised watching Dracula with Christopher Lee!

We watched this is the end on acid last summer. Gotta admit it wasn't one of our best ideas 🙈

Mostly bleak isolation type horror - things such as Alien/Aliens, The Thing (kurt Russell version), lot of the 70s and 80s zombie films especially the George Romero ones...

Even the music has me shitting myself. I seem to remember one when a woman was trapped in a room in a house and got eaten by some cats when she tried to escape, might have been hammer house of horror.

Think it's called "Man from the South". About a bloke with a lighter. Watch that it's a great ending.
