There'll be some of their own Gompers who'll be calling for bucket collections, fundraisers, sponsored swims... for a bunch of millionaires who work about 12 hours a week.

They need to be booted out of the league and made to start again. Sick of hearing about them now, they've been paying big wages even when they dropped to league 1 and it was clear they could not sustain it. Nobody with any money is going to buy them so it will just keep happening. Time for Bolton to accept they are just a bog standard lower league club now with no money. Nice ground though.

It's when you read comments about footballers not getting paid, people feeling sorry 'how would you like it if you didnt get paid for 2 months?' Etc. They're footballers, they're already wealthy and they have watertight contracts so they'll get paid from somewhere. Not the ordinary staff who turn up to find the locks changed and fuck all they can do about it. Someone needs to be made an example of. It's like racism in football - by actually punishing someone properly implies it's a problem. And when it's such a marketable product with so much money involved, they don't want anything to ruin it. Including dreadfully run clubs.

They're heading into admin and I bet there's significant punishment for failing to fulfil fixtures. I can see a record point deduction for next season and them joining us in league 2.

Bassini takeover now off, no sign of other buyers. Step up Mr rahic?
They're taking the piss now, they can't cover their debts and no other club would be given this many chances to sort it out

They look fucked now, even Gordon Taylor thinks they will liquidate. But on a positive note they're already off the bottom of the league

Players back on strike, pfa loaned players money again and this football ventures group are running out of time to buy them. Sure I read they have 2 weeks to buy them but the hotel must be part of the deal but that will take 6 weeks. Liquidation is very much on the cards

Looks like them and Bury are fucked. 'Oh, I feel sorry for the supporters' etc you see people cry.
All the comparisons with the PL money as well, Sanchez being paid £41m or something by Man Utd. I get where its coming from but its the wrong point - its the FA / EFL who are worse than useless at doing anything about the people who drive these clubs into crisis. After these 2 theres a load load more whove been pretty much raped by terrible owners, far worse than Edin, and nothing will change.

FFP needs looking at. It was supposed to stop clubs spending beyond their means yet here we are. Even with FFP in place clubs are more than open to being mismanaged into oblivion.
