How Pointon hasn’t been making this team is a travesty.

How Pointon hasn’t been making this team is a travesty. And you know he’s only in because of fan sentiment.

The kid is the best prospect we’ve had in years and he struggles to make the bench half the time.
I like Kavanagh too. Right busy, annoying little bastard.

Kavanagh, Young and Pointon could be a source of genuine optimism as an attacking force for next season. Preferably under a more modern minded coach.

Walker anonymous - no more time and money should be wasted on this guy.
Smith won’t make it. He’s Lee Angol reincarnate.
Smallwood will and should be released when his contract is up. Another flat, disappointing waste of money.
Only Kavanagh and Pointon look to have anything about them that’s over and above average. The rest have no spark and no shit in their boots. Yet another clear out beckons in the summer.

I enjoyed that for the most part. Probably should have had more and Smith couldn't even finish his dinner, but there was a bit of a youthful brightness to the performance.
I'm really liking Kavanagh. Had the shit kicked out of him all game and didn't let it get to him.
Smallwood... when he gave the ball away twice in succession and clapped himself with some encouragement. Brilliant.

I've been baffled about what was going on with Pointon.
Was our best player, cost us nowt and the fans loved him and he just seemed to get binned off completely.
There's a story in there somewhere

I really like Kavanagh, I think he shows a lot of promise. Despite kicking him all over the park he is tough just gets up and gets on with it. Pointon looked really good as well yesterday. I think Smith has goals in him. Good movement and in the right place fingers crossed he gets over his lack of confidence in front of goal.
