Who will be appointing this ‘expertise’ that he claims we’ll be adding? Sparks.
All those times we were told we were ‘going to have a really good go’ and ‘anything short of promotion is a failure’ were lies if the real sim was just to stay afloat and in the league. Then there was ‘the people of Bradford deserve much better’ bullshit bonanza. The man has never lived up to his words once and has only started baking bullshit again because nobody is buying a season ticket.
Owned by liars and run by incompetents. See you in Championship. Ting.

Nothing has changed, but one thing it has highlighted is if the fans mount a rebelion then you force the clubs hand. If people just sat back and accepted the garbage served up I doubt Rupp would have put together this note to the teacher to go easy on their kid at school who is trying their hardest.

Sounds mighty similar to when Rahic left in 2018.

The best quote I have seen so far is someone on the other forum saying "This is like a note from a 16 year old begging his girlfriend not to dump him".

Basically says
"Ryan flew to Germany to beg me for his job, I asked who he was and was he here to read the metre or something.
He told me fans were pissed and season tickets will soon drop significantly. I was distracted by a passing pigeon so wasn't listening. But then he shouted 'Money, the money will be gone. All gone', I realised that, as owner, that would be a bad thing for me.
I asked this nice chap 3 things - what can we do to keep season tickets sales up for another year? - how can I do this with minimum effort and zero financial outlay? - who is he again?
We agreed that the best bet was to write a letter, promising nothing but suggesting next year will be better. Ryan had a pen and paper with him, so it seemed like the best idea."

I actually read this in the voice of Douglas Reynham from the IT Crowd.

His commitment to put more money in rings utterly hollow. Firstly, why should we believe him and buy a season ticket before he’s put his money where his mouth is? Secondly he’ll be adding this money to the debt this making us even less likely to be bought out. And thirdly, even if he did put more money in it would be put to use by arguably the most incompetent administration in the football league.
I also like the part where he magnanimously commits, in a stupefying display of a complete lack of self awareness, to not sell to anyone who would ‘harm’ the club. You’re harming the club, Stefan. Your ownership is killing us. You.

I know what he's been doing, telling him that everything is tickety boo, I'm running a tight ship and everyone loves you. Now drops the bombshell that it's all going tits up and I need someone to do my job but not at my expense. I've been wondering when the point of no return would come, even with our largely cuckold fan base and Alexander might just have done us a favour with his management of the last four games as it's brought the saga to a head. Other results from those games would have left us with paper over the cracks.

Remember when people thought we were just troublemakers, and us and what we said would just go away?
How'd that turn out for ya?

Other results from those games would have left us with paper over the cracks. I genuinely believe the players have done us a favour too - they've proved previously that they're not as bad as the last 4 games would suggest, but they can see that the club is fucked without change. They're the ones playing on a shit pitch and getting soft tissue injuries because I'll bet everything has been stripped back to the bare bones. The state of the ground is an indicator for everything else - hardly any kiosks open, hardly any food choice, staffed by people who appear shocked to find themselves serving food and drink. Imagine what the players' canteen is like. "Sorry lads, Leanne is off sick today but there's bread by the toaster". What happened to using data to predict these injuries? They're the ones training at a school and seeing sessions cancelled/interrupted/moved because year 9 have PE. That video of (I think it was Barrow) where the players are hanging out waiting to get back on the coach and Sparks wanders through them, head down, straight to his car. They can see he's a useless duplicitous cunt. Footballers I'm sure treat it as a job just like any other in certain circumstances, but I'm not buying that they as a group don't care about the club they are with at any given time. I've never know such a shit season where I've only actually disliked a handful of the players, and even with some of them I've wavered at times.

Once again the cracks thoroughly papered over by the most meagre of offerings. Last time it was beating the 91st worst team in the league after five losses on the spin, this time it's the proud custodian pledging to do the bare minimum. So many people claiming to be renewing now, though I have my suspicions they'd already renewed. To half our fanbase the thought of having to sit in a different seat to the one they've sat in for 19 straight seasons is like having their cock chopped off.
I genuinely don't even hate Rupp. He clearly was hoodwinked and wanted nothing to do with the club other than seeing that if it could hit the championship it could become quite the cash cow and we'd get some good football to boot. Happy faces all round. Now that's all evaporated its time for a clean break. Shake hands, thanks for steadying the ship in 2018 after binning that cunt Rahic, all the best for the future. Sparks could even stick around for me. He's a gobshite but at least he dares to dream every now and again. If the alternative is Rhodes I'd rather have Sparks mouthing off every season and then flopping.
If Rupp is allowed to carry on we wont only be in the same position this time next season, it'll be the one after that and the one after that. Before you know it we'll be liquidating in the conference and people will be thanking Rupp for "keeping us afloat" for as long as he did. (Not true if you believe Sparks on ownership funding during his time)
Anyway, those mugs can renew if they like. I'm still NAPM for the most part. Like this season I'll go to a game here and there when interested enough (not often this season so far) and if I'm wrong and City starting flying, then by paying on the gate for every single game I'll be giving them more money than my season ticket would. Winners all round. I don't have to watch shite every two weeks if I'm right and the club gets a tonne of money if I'm wrong.
