I hope we do it asap to be honest. Monday would be fantastic. Get the disappointment of Cook leaving early on. Also, who would you keep? Only out of contract player I'd offer terms to would be Cook. Don't think the rest of them have obviously done enough.

What worries me is the 'foundation' everyone is going on about.
Who has he actually singed who is any good? Lewis, Stubbs is decent, then the loanees Banks, Crichlow and Wright. That's it.
He's signed some steady average sorts like Halliday and Chapman, but then some absolute dross. 2/3 of the loanees have been pointless, the likes of Bola, Nevers and Pereria did nothing for the team. Oliver and Derbyshire are never going to lead the line and certainly aren't ones for the future.
He signs young players like Young, East and Odusina and seems to hate them.
In terms of the retained list, Cook. Ridehalgh as backup. Knowing us Gilead and Eisa will get 3 years deals.

Lewis Cook Crichlow and Banks will all leave so I couldn't a fuck if everyone went. But I'm sick of the retards calling for G1lliead to get a contract, he's had a spell of 4 games being decent the rest he's been utter dog wank.
Hughes and Gent have no idea what a good L2 player is

I wouldn't offer Ridehalgh anything. We've got Foulds who can be backup. We need someone similar to that Headly guy who Harrogate had earlier in the season - fast, athletic and can contribute in attacking areas. Gilliead should be out the door. We need to move on some of the players under contract such as Luke Hendrie.
It's weird how we still need half a team...

I'd release em all. Every single one, Cook aside. And he's off anyway.
But yeah, it's moot. Hughes will sign more of the same gash anyway.

What happened to that lad he signed from Rotherham? You mean the one that we signed to replace our first choice who was playing so well that Ridehalgh couldn't get back in the team, who then went to Harrogate and was one of their best players and instrumental in them escaping relegation with ease. While said loan player came in, played a couple of games and was that shite that our second choice left back then got back in the team unchallenged? That one? Dunno.

So that means:
Loans ended- Bola Banks Crichlow Pereira Costello Nevers
Will most likely be released- Ridehalgh Songo'o Threlkeld Scales Eisa Wood RIchardson (who??) Clayton
I'd be surprised if Hughes didn't offer Gilliead a deal, Cook will have plenty of offers and I bet most will be better than ours. We'll also be lucky to keep Lewis.
That then leaves-
Doyle Halliday Platt Smallwood Osadebe Walker Foulds Odusina East Hendrie Oliver Chapman Young Derbyshire ffs FCD Kelly Stubbs
Most of whom Hughes doesn't trust. We're fucked.

Which genius gave Derbyshire that deal? The guy’s seventy fucking two years old and he’s got another year out of us.

I rate Mr Dogshit cos I’m cleverer than everyone who doesn’t, but giving the other two deals is an absolute pisstake. What is it you rate about him ? I’m obviously joking about being cleverer, but I like his work rate, the way he carries the ball up the pitch, his tackling has improved. Obviously we could get a better player in, if we could trust us to look beyond Gent’s Filofax, but I’m in no doubt he’s better than Smallwood and Clayton. I understand why others don’t rate him, I just feel he’s never been the problem this season.

Ridehalgh and Clayton?!
In a completely unrelated matter, does anyone know if the Samaritan's number is free to call?
