We're below Barrow, Harrogate, Morecambe, Crewe, Newport, Crawley, and Accrington. Anyone who is happy with that can fuck off. But they really care and they’re trying really, really hard.

Morecambe above us just about sums up the last 6 seasons at this club and a measurement of the reason why this club exists now. No other reason than to just balance the books and make the numbers up. But then that is a perfect world for some of our fan base who see Richmond's ownership as a negative than positive because it eventually went tits up. A fan base who would rather see us stagnate than have a go, happy to see us falter under BFG so they could turn around smugly to say we told you it wouldn't work. Proud of being brow beaten working class l, knowing your place in the football hierarchy.

Yes, it went tits up for various reasons (some arguably beyond the club’s control such as the itv digital fiasco). But the fact other clubs go through admins yet seem to bounce back after a season or two while we stagnate is a piss take.

We went back to our natural habitat, that of the lesser ambitious football club. Didn't have a choice I guess, I wish someone would bring out a book on those years of BFG, it would be one heck of a read.

Monday's interview, careful choice of words here. Remember, at the start of the season Sparks said Rupp hasn't invested anything in 3 years, so 'support' for the same budget doesn't mean he's put his hand in own pocket...
“But we weren’t deterred by that whatsoever. Stefan (Rupp) had agreed to support pretty much the same budget, slightly higher in the end."

What's the mirror got to do with it? Asking for Hoochy.

What's the mirror got to do with it? Asking for Hoochy. Some people like to see their face when they cum all over themselves. Pretty obvious really, Bacon.

Another interview piece, no contract talks until summer being the main takeaway.
At least last season they had the excuse of being in play off contetnion and didn't want a distraction.
Pointon especially and Halliday are totally different to Cook being out of contract. If Pointon leave especially as well as Halliday Sparks is getting all kinds of shit thrown at him
"Last season we had a really good chat with the players that we weren’t going to talk about contracts until we were done. In the summer we addressed it.
“It’s important that the players are focused on the task at hand. It certainly won’t be something we discuss in January.

Has anybody ever asked why we set these arbitrary timelines for contract renegotiation? It seems to do nothing more than put us at a disadvantage. If the player is good enough, offer them terms before it’s too late. If not, don’t. It's how properly run clubs slowly build a decent squad.

In three months Swiss Toni will be disgusted-DISGUSTED- as disloyal players have gone and signed with clubs who are run professionally and get their business done early.

The shadow of Captain Admin still haunts the hallways at VP. Pissing about with Meredith 7 years ago seems to have been the catalyst for this behaviour. We never learn. But Omari bloody Patrick? 1 game, gets a 3 year contract. Pointon deserves better than this shite set up anyway.

Tomorrow's subjects are 'Stefan Rupp, club interest and criticism' It's going to get spicy lads Before we get to tomorrow's topics, we are going to be having the flog ifollow and extra tickets for a game that must be in doubt of going ahead for the next 6 hours before a last min pitch inspection takes place. This rain must be adding to a total shit show of a pitch. Clubs a clownshow top to bottom.
