Anybody use one?
I've had a warning from Virgin for my suspicious internet use (specifically downloading films) and need to hide behind one. I've researched it and one of the best for Mac is one called 'Pure VPN' so, unless I hear any different on here, I'm going to go for that at £40 for two years.

Is it a generic warning or have they actually got something on you?

I'm not too worried as they can't really do anything without proving it was me that downloaded it all but it won't hurt to hide.

How much in terms of GB do you download a week Hobhead? Youve got me worried now. Varies wildly. Sometimes nothing sometimes 100 to 150gb or more. Danger Mouse is 12gb. I wouldn't worry too much, they can't do a great deal but if you are worried there's plenty of VPN's out there. I've found free ones but as far as I understand it they look like they run slower than your normal internet connection. I've paid £40 and I've now got two years peace of mind and I can pirate whatever I want. It's a lovely feeling

I've had to use cyber ghost on Android in order to get Sportsmania to work. Will look at sorting one for the missus as she downloads a lot of music.

Cyber Ghost was really highly rated and was my first choice. It wouldn't accept my card details though so I had to move on to Pure VPN which was rated slightly lower than Cyber Ghost. First impressions are good so far though - simple, effective and cheap when bought in 'bulk'.

Open it like any other program so it's just sat open in the dock, pick a country you want to show as browsing from and that's it. Piece of piss. I haven't noticed any noticeable slowdown of downloading speeds either which is a massive boon.

Kickass and the Pirate Bay mirrors but my two favourites are: www.shaanig.org/f30/ (that's the 720p/1080p section. There's all the cams etc on there but I don't bother with those). www.yify-torrent.org (Not the quickest with new releases but the quality is always top notch and I've watched some gems thanks to them popping up on there). For TV shows: yifytorrent.co/This site can be useful too: rarbg.unblocked.gold/top10Plenty of filth on there for all you perverts.

Some people have had letter specifying exactly which film they have downloaded and when. The worst thing that could happen is they cut you off and blacklist you which means it would be hard for you to get a new broadband deal off anyone but use a different name and you'd be ok.

If it's just to watch them you don't need to download them. There are plenty of free websites you can use and the picture quality is generally fantastic too.
