Got to get them all singing from the same hymn sheet, looks like Ryan has had a word with Parker for a bit of damage limitation after a week or two of negative storylines.

DEREK Adams insists he was not having a dig at the City board after the Crawley defeat.
Some fans felt his angry post-match comments were a veiled criticism of his Valley Parade bosses.
But Adams has stressed that he works well under club owner Stefan Rupp and chief executive Ryan Sparks.
He said: “The difficulty with being a manager is that you can’t say what you want to all the time and be clear on that.
“But one thing I can make clear is that the owner and CEO have been very supportive to me since I came to the football club.
“The CEO has given me very good backing from the point of view of taking me into the club and now allowing me to get on and try to move forward in the way that I want to.
“I can only be thankful for that.”
Charles Vernam should be back for the home clash with Rochdale and Adams hopes he could be joined by either Theo Robinson or Caolan Lavery.
"There’s a possibility of either Lavery or Robinson, one of the two. It's not a definite.
"Vernam is the closest and we’ll monitor his progress over the week.
"If he had played at the weekend he would have been injured in the game and been out for weeks. It was only logical that we didn’t play him.”
Adams has confirmed that he won’t be taking any free agents to fill the holes while City wait for the casualty list to ease.
Having used his initial wage budget, he won’t be pushing to spend more.
“I’ve never, ever in my managerial career gone to the board and asked for money," he added. "I will never do that.
“The board give me a set budget and that’s how I go about it at any football club. I’ve never gone to one chairman or CEO and asked for an increase and I never will.
“If you have 10 pounds and then you later get an extra 20 pounds, it’s not any good because we could have used that to take in a different type of player earlier on.
“Give me a budget at the start of the season and that’s what I will work with. I’ve always done that and won’t change until the end of my managerial career.”

The Crankshaw sale just adds to the overall picture being painted at VP - a shit one. Unless Adams can find that secret sauce that somehow gets this questionable side to click and we start stacking wins together - no fucking way is this side going to get promoted.
The atmosphere / environment on and off the pitch just seems wrong for starters - way, way off what you associate with promotion. Trouble on pitch, in the backroom, and with the owner.

Next step in Adams getting his own set up. I'm sure Sparks said similar about Turnbull though. All immaterial unless Rupp is going to back it with funding.

So they're Adams' men and they'll likely fuck off when he does. Wonderful short termism again.

We’ve employed some scouts to find players for the money we haven’t got.

We've employed Adams' mates to go and watch players Adams tells them to, instead of Adams doing it himself. Still going to be the same issue where the manager recruits purely from within his existing circle, as we've seen with Songo'o.
And I'm simply not buying the idea that this summer's dross was all on Turnbull.

Imagine not having had scouts in place before now.

Imagine not having had scouts in place before now. You’ve got to ask why Turnbull hadn’t established a scouting network in his 10 months at the club. How was he identifying players?

To be fair there are freelance scouts everywhere. He could have been getting reports in from independent scouts all over the UK.

Rushed Crankshaw out of the door to make room in the budget for a player we didn’t have lined up.
Why is it that nothing ever seems straightforward at this club?

No point bring bodies in to this football club for the sake of bringing bodies in to this football club. Got to add something we don’t already have. I see them lads hitting the back of the net day in day out, like wee Ally McFuckingCoists

Sell Crankshaw to make room in the budget for a desperately needed striker. Don’t sign striker but say the injured lads who don’t score goals are coming back. This club just feeds the fans bullshit.
Get a fucking striker signed, you useless, dithering cunts.
