Mind you, Oldham are a basket case and Bolton seem to be always in the shit.

And he talks like there’s a bottomless pot of money that means Colchester never have to worry as long as he’s around. It all sounds like bullshit, bluster and posturing. www.cu-fc.com/news/2021/april/amended-club-statement/

The guy at Colchester, unlike those at Bury, does actually have a thriving business. I can't se JobServe going anywhere soon.

How the fuck does a L2 team have £30m of debt Unless they’ve gone pop and been relegated then there has to be something amiss with the running of the club to rack up those levels.

What a sad demonstration of how badly run so many clubs are, compounded by the economic challenges the game faces as a result of COVID. For the sake of fans everywhere we need to come together as a football family and protect our shared heritage of blah blah etc.
Do they have any decent players we can pillage?

No Hope that helps only one I'd consider is Callum Harriott, going to get double figures out wide in a team that's won 1 in 25, but I wouldn't touch anyone else

How the fuck does a L2 team have £30m of debt Unless they’ve gone pop and been relegated then there has to be something amiss with the running of the club to rack up those levels. Looks like a decade of consistently losing £2-4m a year, in the 14-15 and 16-16 seasons, the last ones the published full accounts, they had a wage bill of £3.5-4.0m or so, turnover was £3.7-4.7m. Spending nearly all your income on wages with attendances of 3-4,000 is the answer. Unless it’s a tax ruse for the rest of the group companies, I’m not sure how anyone could not look at that and think, I’m pissing my kids inheritance away here, and start to make it more self sufficient.
