On a more positive note, Lincoln will be so shagged out from raising their game against the mighty Bradford City at the awe-inspiring Genitalia Stadium that they’ll get battered on Saturday; MK Dons 17/10 at home so fill your boots lads.

I think the worst thing about it is usually you'd be sat here thinking "he should play *insert formation here*" or "why isn't *insert player here* starting?" but the attacking options are that poor that it feels like there's no possible way of getting positive returns out of them. Maybe 3 up top so we only have to use one of Donaldson, Guthrie and Novak rather than two? Even then though, our wingers aren't exactly the type of players you'd be excited to see in the line up. It’s an absolutely dire squad and the disconnect between the fans and the club is only going to grow as long as everyone can see it and the club (McCall) keeps denying it. McCall needs to stop saying how happy he is with what he’s got and redouble his meagre efforts to recruit some decent players. It’s simply not going to happen though. The club is fucked.

We all called it when the fans would turn on Rahic, then with Bowyer. Rupp is going to be next. Another result or two like that in the league and the fans will divert that frustration to him. Fed up of the 'nearly' signings, the 'looked good in training' soundbites, reading about our chronic lack of players and over reliance on youth... but most of all they'll realise just how much Stuart is being done over by the tight fisted twat in charge.

www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/18723304.cup-shocker-bantams-miss-liverpool/Looks like the positivity bandwagon tricycle has lost a wheel. Any volunteers to help spin? Applications to Messers McKeown and Dewhirst. Not tonight though as they’re celebrating being able to sneer at those who don’t share their vision of the current situation as an opportunity, not the massive clusterfuck of reality it is.

Are these quotes coming from Stuart real? His head has fucking gone if they are, it's back to his first stint.

That quotes going to end up coming back to haunt him, isn't it? Just after that he says 'see if you're still calling us a shambles then' too.

We're going to break Stuart for the 3rd time.

We're going to break Stuart for the 3rd time. And this is the reason I had reservations about him coming back back....he’s done after this next stint and I just can not see a way of it ever happening again. Some will say good and some will say he’s had his chances and blew it but he is one of us whether people like it or not. In my opinion I would not want anyone else to have success with us more than him, that might be Gomperish but I genuinely wouldn’t!

He lost it big time in that interview. Also, much as I love him, he talks a load of shit at times, talks himself in circles, says 500 words when 20 would do. He always has done. Says it's about not defending set pieces properly, despite saying they worked on not getting caught on the counter attack, and got caught on the counter attack. Says hes tried to sign players but they dont want to come. Why would that be?
He should have blocked Rhodes'number and stuck to the after dinner circuit, leave us with the memory of "what if Edin hadn't sacked him..".
Fair play to Raynor for pressing the point though and not rolling over for a tummy tickling.

Paudie O’Connor is shit, isn’t he? He's slowest in what is a painfully slow team. Take DMH out and the disability squad would give them a race.

I love him to bits, just wish the club would back him with a decent squad. I'd expect the frustrations heard in the interview after a couple of months, not after 3 or 4 games.

I'd expect the frustrations heard in the interview after a couple of months, not after 3 or 4 games. He has to take some blame here. Relying on the old boys' network, agents calling him, players he's used before etc has run out of steam. We've watched Lincoln tonight play an organised, professional game that made our lot look non-league. They didn't do anything fancy but they all knew their roles and responsibilities. They've had the longest pre season ever to get lads in to fit the system they want to play, there's money in the budget and we're nowhere near.

I agree with Hoochy, Fat Ade, Hobbes and neshead.
It’s fucking heartbreaking. I love the bloke and I still don’t think that he’s had a decent crack at it in three goes but he should have stayed well away and left us with the memory that Hobbes said. It’s going to drive him around the bend and there’s no one to blame but Rhodes this time for using him again.
