I'm all for calling out the 'gomper' shit, having had it explained to me in another thread, and fans have a right to criticise the club without being decried as 'haters' or whatever But reading the above, is there anything you lot actually like or enjoy about supporting City? Shit ground, shit team, shit management, and even shitter fans, apparently... Maybe some of you'd be tempted by non league. Can get pissed while you watch. Makes a big difference. To a certain extent I agree, but I get fed up of the club and it’s ‘celebrity’ spokespeople elevating mediocrity, at best, to an art form. To use literary metaphors we’re a Sartre play and Catch-22 with a bit of Sysyphus thrown in, we just go nowhere year in year out. A couple of years under Parky is the best we’ve had in 20 years- and that was more accident than design. In over 40 years of watching, the Richmond era was far and away the best and to me the cost was worth it. Irrespective of his financial improprieties he went for it, with others’ money, and gave us one hell of a ride. Sadly, I never expect to see those heights again but I’d like to think that somewhere along the line there is an ambition to be something better than a fan experiencing 4th Division football with a semi-on simply because I can go to a pub and have a curry at lunchtime, before watching crap football in an archaic behemoth. I've got the dictionary and the encyclopedia out and I still don't know if you like going to Manningham every other Saturday or not. Are you Micky Woods?

That’s a dodgy disease you get from girls your mam told you to avoid and your dad told you to enjoy isn’t it?

Fucking hell, I didn’t realise it was that bad.

I like 'archaic behemoth'. Bet Parker uses that next season to describe Big Jim.

‘why we love Bradford City’. I don’t. Not any more But it’s a way of life m9. Pre and post match drinks have been more fun than the games themselves for some time. It’ll be interesting to see what happens though. It could be some time before we’re allowed back in, could be some way into next season. According to the word of the gompers, we should smash the league because there won’t be a negative crowd. Or, we’ll be slightly more hopeless.
