You're right. I know these are only quirky little bits and pieces that have probably been making somewhere look untidy for years but they're a part of our heritage. It should be on a wall in The Bantams' Bar or somewhere like that. Next to a picture of the squad of that era getting on the bus with a little bit of writing about any minor success of the time. £100 towards the running costs and nothing to show for it. No legacy as ever. We're the top dogs round here, we should have a scarf like the banter boys have. We could double it up with a 'Hob is an ars*hole' flag. Hob is an arsehole, Hoochy is a bender half and half. Corfu for Christmas.

Notice how they're selling those cardboard cutout prints of fans too this week.
That and the ebay fire sale, wonder if they really are that desperate for cash?

That new Barnsley striker who was going out on loan has gone to Stevenage. Stuart was never going to sign a Celt was he

Stuart in paper today. The man either needs media training or is deliberately painting a bad picture.
“When I looked at bringing Gareth Evans in, I remember him as more of a striker for us. The more I have seen him in training, he is probably not the one who can play up there, although I have no doubts that he can”

Every time he speaks he reveals another failing. This time it’s scouting and research just for a change.

Turns out she’s a flatulent, magazine-reading, vacuous cunt with an attitude that stinks worse than her halitosis. While it might have been a mistake I’ve absolutely no doubt she can be all the things I hoped she’d be if I just persevere.

Parker hangs McCall out to dry sometimes, some of the stuff he goes to print with seems counter productive. McCall probably didn't mean the comments to come out like they have been printed, there's been a few times where fans have been questioning decisions based on Parkers narrative.

Fuck me, he’s NEVER been a striker.

Mason was good at media training and making sure what was said by everyone didn't contradict itself, look confusing or unprofessional, or being very careful about how we present the (meagre) budget I mean, we all know how hard up are, but don't say shit like 'there are funds to invest in January' then do the total opposite when January comes.
Stuart has moved on a bit since his first spell, but at times he seems like he wants to give off that sentimental old-timer approach, who's having to spin plates and firefight in every aspect of management because to him there much honor in it.
We should be controlling all the narrative that gets put out - I mean, we've had enough examples in the last few months where they've fucked up and people have called them out for it. Scouting on an ipad, claiming Vaughan won't leave on the cheap, sitting by the phone hoping it rings, dragging out the recruitment all summer in the way we have...

Durr, because he knows the club.... Loves the shirt etc. Anyone else noticed that since we brought in legacy numbers we seem to only sign people who've played for us previously. Odds on we have an admin fuck up meaning we can register new numbers... either that or someone mistook the legacy players list as a scouting report Wouldn't put anything past this shower

What worries me is that we were told there was 500k left in the wage cap and we've only signed a 19 year old from wolves kids team and Evans and another child from Leeds....where's the money gone ? These u21 don't count towards it

These u21 don't count towards it We might have been able to spend another 500k on wages before hitting the penalty cap, but can't imagine we ever wanted to hit that threshold. We are broke poor and now have no gate revenue either. We'd go bust if we spent to the cap. That said, say Evans is on about £2.5k per week and we are paying about £500 per week for each loan that is about £200k already gone. This shit adds up fast.

These u21 don't count towards it Counts towards the cap or not his wages still need paying, but I can’t imagine he’s on a massive salary though. It’s a guess but I feel Rupp may not be putting money in anymore, or not as much, flogging on eBay anything that’s not nailed down, no big money striker before the cap came in. Some recruitment probably depended on shifting some of the deadwood, I’d imagine BRE, AOC and Donaldson are on a decent wage.

Oh Stuart. Just stubbornly writing off free agents again. Surely as he wanted a small squad, so small we've thrown in half the youth team almost, this was one of the possible scenarios we could have faced?
If he's just being stoic regarding lack of investment and taking everything on the chin, I really wish he wouldn't.

The recruitment has been so bad that nobody would put their name to it without reason. Novak and Guthrie have been out for weeks so why say now they’ll be back before an out of contract player would be up to speed. He’s used 8 or 9 players 20 or under. Doesn’t make sense.
