"At least we have a club to support", I think. So don't get upset at only drawing with Bolton Wanderers U-9s and losing at home to a village pub team.

Why do people seem to think that the opposite to success is oblivion? No-one’s advocating we ‘do a Bury’, but a bit of professionalism and some sort of aim and strategy wouldn’t go amiss. Right now about the only thing City can claim to be doing right is staying solvent and if that’s your idea of bragging rights then maybe you’re as shortsighted as the people at VP.
Either we get our act together and start acting like a professional club or we’ll be selling four thousand cheap season tickets where we belong: in the amateur ranks.

Exactly, its fucking baffling and totally irritating.

This bit in particular stood out, the second paragraph seems aimed at me personally tbh after my comments on widthofapost last week:
"The siren call for new players, a new manager and new facilities on social media is like the wailing of a toddler at a supermarket checkout wanting everything and wanting it now. Social media has become part of the problem with attention seeking experts creating noise and encouraging the detachment from reality with simplistic and emotive tweets.
The apparent resentment expressed online about old people, young people, the bantams family and others who have followed the club through lean years has become like a witch hunt. Certain people are blaming ‘lack of ambition’ on those who sit alongside them in the stands instead of recognising the inheritance at Valley Parade, the legacy of all yesterday’s failings and existing financial commitments as well as the whole Bradford factor."
Patronising? Moi?

I remember when he had a go at us for the "anti-Rahic agenda". He backed the wrong horse there didn't he...

Also, "followed us through the lean years"? It's 15 years since we've been in the top two divisions, these ARE the lean years.

In my recent travels up and down the M1 I've noticed that practically every gents I've been in has had "We need a UK Trump" scrawled in the cubicle. Looking at the other threads on here I've my suspicions who's responsible.

Don't deny me my financial bragging rights over Sheffield Wednesday fans at work. I make them look like proper cunts when I brandish our balance sheet at them.

Patronising? Moi? It’s time unambitious old dinosaurs like Dewhirst stepped aside. Poncing around like the City fan equivalent of a self-appointed community leader cocking a snook at anyone with any ambition as a financial retard. Off the tracks, grandad, there’s a new broom in town and it’s called The Cow’s Arse. Whoop whoop.

Dewhirst is the epitome of all things dull and bland, lives in the past non stop blogs and social media posts about fucking inanimate objects that only dull people talk about. He's everything id hate to turn out like therefore I can easily dismiss this article.
Luckily we probably won't win a thing in the rest of his lifetime which I'm sure pleases him no end.

All I ask from this football club is to show a small profit every year.

To be fair to Dewhirst he was one of the ones that went to Germany to convince Rupp that Rahic was taking the piss. But apart from that, the only bit that makes sense to me is the lack of vision. Make it through the season without losing too much money and see what happens next season. That’s the Rhodes way. It’s the football equivalent of a bland pork chop, mash and tinned peas for tea every night.

But he's right judgmental and obsessed with the past.

Its almost as if these cocksuckers have grown too accustomed ‘big fish in a small pond’ status amongst the city blogging community. I Think the thought of success, and a new wave of more aspiring fans, terrifies them. They look a the big clubs, see the various proffessionally run supporters groups with articulate and respected spokespeople, and they know they’d become irrelevant if city ever got further than league 1. City loitering around the lower leagues suites them down to a tee, frankly.
