£2m deficit to be covered by Stefan. I assume that he’ll want to recoup that when he sells up. Combine that with the fact that he wants back the over inflated fee that he paid for the club in the first place and he’s going to find us almost impossible to sell. Also, Rhodes says next year we want a breakeven budget. Well with most of the overpaid shirkers still under contract for next season I just don’t see how we’re going to manage to do that and build a competitive squad at the same time regardless of what division we’re in. Interesting times. But mention of cut price season tickets in the same article...….

Have we got 10000 people who would pay £300? Is it easier to go after 20000 paying £150? I'm in favour of the cheap tickets til vps full.

Interesting times. Rupp seems like a sensible bloke, how anyone could think someone would buy the club for what they paid is insane. It won’t happen, not where we are now, not if we stay up, and still not if we stay up and manage mid table mediocrity next season (we won’t). He must know he’s onto a loser, and when that happens you need to lose it ASAP or it’ll just cost more. Be surprised if he doesn’t sell come the summer and just takes the hit.

Chances are Rupp will stay here whether he wants to sell or not. I cant imagine we have a long queue of investors wanting to buy the club. Lawn wanted out for years only for Edin fucking Rahic to turn up.

Egomaniacal lunatic or not, you have to hand it to Edin- to be able to blindside such a successful business man as Rupp you must have to be one hell of a silver tongued cavalier. And for that alone I salute him. For everything else, I wish him nothing but the tortures of...answers on a postcard.

Riff-raff in the kop pay 150; halfway line seats with a blanket 250; comfy padded seats in the suites 300. Everything else somewhere between. I prefer paying more knowing I'm not near the riff-raff. Trains, holidays, decent flight times etc. Well worth it. #LiveToryVoteLabour

Close knit groups of gompers would ripped apart by evil money grabbing city. A twitter storm waiting to happen

Did they try tiered pricing in the 2 prem years? Pretty sure you could buy a cheap one and just move where you wanted.

STs were 150 quid, what, 10 years ago?
So relatively they’re even cheaper now. We’re striking the wrong balance between affordability and quality.
Tbf, there’s no way they can put the price up after the shit show of this season. The time to increase price was after the play off, back McCall and show some ambition. We wouldn’t have lost any supporters.
Tight bastards. 230 quid works out at a tenner a game. More than fair.

So season tickets are on sale again. Ill wait until as late as possible before deciding - if we're almost down by deadline day I am not watching us in League 2 again.
If cheap season tickets were so wonderful, other clubs would do it. But there's a reason why they don't, and when they do it's tied into some sort of event e.g. a centenary. Long term itd not productive, and we're in the position now where it's expected every year.
The same with flexi tickets - what a great idea they were. Great at devaluing the core product of a cheap season ticket - again there's a reason why do no one else copied it.
We bummed ourselves by going so cheap for so long. Even when we had the opportunity to increase prices a few years ago with successive play off runs we didn't.

Even when we had the opportunity to increase prices a few years ago with successive play off runs we didn't. 200-250 for adults, with very cheap priced tickets for juniors is the way to do it. Keep it affordable for families, get the future generations hooked (poor little cunts) but drive adults to pay a fair going rate. Lets keep a competitive budget but entrust it to people who know what they're doing. One of the biggest problems with the clusterfuck of this season is that gompers like Park will take the view of 'see, more money doesn't make you more successful and it puts the club at risk, so stop banging on about spending/charging more'. Completely missing the fucking point.

Unfortunately this is not the time to increase tickets. fan engagement is at a low it hasn't been for a long time. They need to get the lost fans back onside. In Bradford that unfortunately means doing everything cheap cheap cheap for now.
If we can stay in the league and they can get around 16,000 signed up again they will see that as a success and back on track to building a more competitive team

I don't think cheap tickets will cut it this time around. People are pissed off and angry.
