www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2018/october/stefan-rupp/Stefan Rupp has spoken of his support for head coach David Hopkin, insisting the City boss has the full backing of the club. The Bantams’ joint owner has today made the following statement: Rupp said: “David is the man to take us forward - in the long-term - and get the team moving in the right direction, away from the foot of the table. “He faces a huge challenge, there is no doubt about that, but we all stand right behind him. David is currently scouring the market to strengthen the squad as injuries continue to trouble us. “There have been more than a dozen players unavailable for several weeks and this will again be the case when the team faces Gillingham, tomorrow. “If our position does not improve then David will be backed in January and there will be money to spend. He will get complete support in terms of the players he wishes to bring to the club. “Likewise, David has of course the power to make changes to his backroom team. But, again, decisions rest with him and he will be fully backed. “Staying in League One is of paramount importance and we will do everything in our power to ensure this season ends on a positive note. “We have made a very disappointing start to the season and we are hurting, as is everyone, our loyal supporters and partners. “I look forward to attending some games next month and hope you will be there, getting behind David and the team as we take on the difficult challenges ahead of us. “We now need to stick together as your support can really help us turn things around.”

How about he actually turn up to a game and see the shite he backed in the summer?
Remember the shite he came out with when they backed Collins? McCall?

"David is currently scouring the market to strengthen the squad"
Because everyone knows that the best time to strengthen your squad is late October.
Once again....
[Collins]said: “It’s been relatively relaxed. The bulk of the recruitment was done in the summer, which always helps.
“Not everybody is always fortunate enough to be in that situation, so that was pleasing for the club."

A nothing statement to placate the gompers. Don't believe a word.
Rahic out. Rupp out.

Don’t believe the naysayers, Stefan is talking quality rhetoric, he is hurting as much as any Uber fan. Trust me I know, I had an audience with him and he’s proper kosher. JGBTLFFS.
Lots of love, (On behalf of) Manny and the BCST

I've heard he's walking if they lose again Saturday.
I doubt the credibility of my source though.

What does a man who made helicopter seats and has only attended a handful of football games in his life know about whether or not Hopkin is the right man for the job? He knows precisely what 'Edi' tells him and that chump thought Collins was the man to take us forward.
The idea that 'Edi' might not be the man to take us forward will no doubt have occurred to Rupp by now. Sadly he couldn't give a fuck so we get meaningless statements about the manager that are just rehashed bits from the occasional chats he shares with Uncle Edin.
Also, the next time these cunts start telling us fans to get behind the club they've fucked up, well, I'm going to get rather cross.

You don't make £300m by not caring if your investment succeeds or fails. He'll need a return. If he's not getting in then he'll sell.

I wonder why this his come along, now? The top quality production that is Parker on Parade latest episode he was saying how he’d tried to speak to both RnR but got nowhere.
At first glance it seems like the usual backing before the sacking statement but Hopkin really seems more likely to walk away.
Even with this publication of intergalactic gomperism, he’s still managed to install a caveat for January investment. So if we move up to 18th, Hopkin gets no cash? So that’s it then. I’ve cracked it. They know they won’t get any cash if we turn it round pre January so they’re ensuring we stay the worst team in the country till then to ensure we get investment. Playing the long game. Smart.

It's very hard to sign people in January, don't be so mean.

Why, with things as desperate as they are and with several decent players out there without a club, are we waiting until January to back Hopkin? Why not boost the squad now with a couple of out of contract signings? We could draw up a list, pick a few at random and they’d still be better than the shite we’ve got.
The answer’s simple: there won’t be any strengthening, now or in January, because Edin the expert has doubled what little cash we had on the worst squad in living memory.

That, or like it appears to be with Grayson, maybe they prefer to sit on their arses unemployed than get involved in the shit show at VP?

What was the point made where Abbott got upset at the Q&A because someone said his transfer window was utter shite? The wording? It was bizarre to get upset about it and showed you where we were as a club.
Why does Abbott stick around>? Beyond me.

I can only imagine it was because it much much much worse than simply 'a shambles'. An absolute fuck up of epic proportions was probably more apt.
