I put this on the other message board. You guys have probably got level heads compared to someone like myself who's a tad hot headed. Times like this it needs people who are calm and can get there point across without OTT. I've been doing a bit of research this afternoon and I've come up with some key points we all need to think about IF this is to be a success. .......................... First things first Social Media, this is a key part of drumming up support and making sure everyone is aware of when & where the protest is taking place. We need to come up with a specific name for the Protest Group too. If you have a look at what Charlton have done they've made it specific to the cause; C.A.R.D - The Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet - twitter.com/charltoncardOnce the name is sorted then it's time to create a Social Media presence, create a Facebook page & Twitter page that way all information is on both platforms so people who are on either can "follow" Next is planning the Protest, get a group of us together meet 1 night during the week and iron out the whole purpose/point of a protest. Without either, it's pretty pointless and people who are currently "on the fence" might not join it's those who we need to convince! Authorities! Without the backing from WYP we've NO CHANCE! Simple as that. We give them a proposed route, timings etc they'll go away and see whatresources are needed etc. It isn't as easy as some make out to get all this set up but if people are SERIOUS about creating a "Protest Group" and actually organising a protest then let's get a few heads together, iron some things out then take it from there?! In regards to the name in another thread someone has mentioned; SOC1903 - Save Our City1903 I wouldn't mind getting the social media side of things up and running but you guys are probably more "ITK" when it comes to facts and putting your points across. Thoughts?

Someone’s beaten me to reposting it. Good stuff. Before we decide to do anything, we need to ORGANISE.

Edin will be shitting himself already - even someone as arrogant as him won't have failed to notice that things aren't going as planned. The only way to hit Edin though is in the pocket. He's an ex accountant struggling to balance the books so the best thing City fans can do is starve him of cash come season ticket buying time. In the meantime I've suggested a hashtag on Twitter to let the club know that fans won't be buying season tickets come renewal time. Adding something like #notrenewing to Tweets will get people talking about boycotting season tickets, commit them to not doing so and let Edin know that if he doesn't sell up then the shit he's already in might just get a bit deeper.
Edin's dream is turning sour because of his incompetence, letting him know ahead of time that it's all about to get a whole lot worse can only help ease him towards the door.

Yep. Doesn't matter many "Edin out" chants, flyovers, billboards or social media moaning we do the only thing that will have an effect is money.
Edin sat in the director's box on match day looking out at an empty stadium with nothing in the bank. That'll get his attention.

As Rahic and Rupp aren't putting any money in, what would a club like ours look like without generating any money? No income through season tickets=lowest budget in the league=guaranteed relegation into non league assuming we go down this season and possible admin as the debts pile up. It just shows what an absolute mess we are when this is the only alternative.

What's the deal with the tea bars? I'm guessing City get a lump sum at the start of the season then all proceeds after that go to the company running the bars. Would boycotting them do any harm? Not that I buy any of that shit beer at that price.

Also, I think we should go with the tagline ‘Came with a dream, created a nightmare’ The name and similar can be changed while it’s still in its infancy.
