Mike Duxbury. There isn't a player who I can remember that did so little and looked so poor.

Alan Dowson. Signed from Millwall at the same time as Babb, Torpey and Morgan. Spectacularly gash.

I've been having a quick look through that article and Guy Branston has appeared for two different clubs already. Notts County really don't like him.

I remember being quite excited when we signed him and he was a massive disappointment. In fact, the entire squad Jackson built was the worst group of players we've had since I've started watching city. It's a good job PP came in otherwise we were getting relegated into the conference with that squad and Jackson in charge.

Every time I heard we'd signed a new player my heart sank. That's probably the basis for my Gary Locke hatred. He was Jeffries' poster boy, his banker, his Nicky Law. And he was wank. From there it was all down hill.

JJ's dross from Scotland brings back some painful memories. I know he had to slash the wage bill but we could have gambled on up and coming players from the 3rd or 4th tier rather than average Scottish Premiership players.

Zesh Rehman. For me the worst regular player in the worst squad I've seen at City.
I agree the likes of Dowson, Morgan, Duxbury were poor but they played at a higher level and the team wasn't even nearly as shite as the Rehman era.

I know he had to slash the wage bill but we could have gambled on up and coming players from the 3rd or 4th tier rather than average Scottish Premiership players. He massively overrated the quality of the player's he was bringing in and he appeared to have absolutely no knowledge of the game outside of Scotland. That was a depressing time.
