Is there any truth in the story he went on holiday while suspended and fucked his back falling off a jet ski? I hope that is true

From the minimal I have seen #scanz #baller #fuckoff, he’s nothing but a one trick pony...drop a shoulder and try to get passed his full back, if that doesn’t work, then he has fucking nothing. His delivery is dog shit and even with two working legs he isn’t that quick...he’s dog shit and needs putting down #woofwoof

Scannell is the biggest disappointment of the lot for me. I wasn’t expecting much from any of the others bar Payne but the lad’s been shite. He’s either injured or anonymous. We’ll give him away in the summer, he’ll go to a mid/upper League One team and do well. It’s what we do. Another Paul Anderson - play a few games, look questionable, get a long term injury and everyone feels sorry for them.

Also score against us every time.

Huge miss. Well past his best, recent season ravaged by injury. Out for the season before October. I was only a month out. What do I win?

There was a video from the training ground when Bowyer was appointed. It showed Scannell and another player walking together, looked like they were sharing a joke. Until Scannell spotted the camera, his face changed from a smile to something more serious and sober in an instant. Don't know why he bothered, I think most fans know that this group of players couldn't give a flying one about the steaming pile of shite they've got the club into. I can't think of a single City player [City owned] who are going to be invaluable for a battle to get out of Division 2. After watching Mansfield v Lincoln last night, there's not a cat in hell's chance that the present side is getting anywhere near the top of the league below.

I put something on Gomper talk back in November/December where I said that the team Parky only just survived in League 2 with was better than this lot. I was laughed at, at the time. I don't think they'd be laughing now. McLaughlin or O'D? Not much in that either way. Seip or Chicksen? Seip - at least he could defend. Davies and Oliver or NKP and O'Connor - not even a fucking contest Kozluk or Ramsden - Ramsden if fit. Maybe Caddis, but both fairly similar Kyel Reid or Jack Payne? Payne more talented, but Reid was better in terms of balance and doing what a wide player should. Butterfield or Devitt - Butterfield Syers or LoB? - LoB the better player but in terms of impact, Syers scored more goals. And at least he was ours. Akpan or Ravenhill? Give me Ravenhill Doyle and Ball or Hanson and Wells? Hanson and Wells. I'd rather have Fagan and Dagnall than Clarke and Miller I'd rather have Bullock than Wright I'd rather have Atkinson than Patrick Look at each squad - the League 2 dross one was better. And at least it had some bollocks.

And at least it had some bollocks. As it stands we have a very average league 2 squad. There are some decent individuals such as Ball, O’Brien, Payne, Butterfield and Caddis who would make a difference in a well balanced squad. The problem isn’t so much individuals, it’s how they’ve been thrown together as a team. Look at McCalls Wembley team and where they are now. Only one player bettered himself and that was Meredith. All the others are still at this level or below and most of those players our fans berated regularly. It doesn’t take many decent players to make a team, the rest just play a role, but they all have to knit together. Ironically the guy charged with that task, Greg Abbott, might be employed in the division above us next season with Mansfield.

Fucking hell, that really is a surprise. Mind you, what are the odds on him making it through training on Friday morning?

Thought he did pretty well in the 15-20 minutes he was on. Well enough for someone to have gamble on him for next season if he keeps it up until the end. One wage gone.
