And the only thing stopping most people (and the only thing that really makes dogs dangerous) is peoples unwillingness to harm them.
Think about it, removing all your inhibitions and it’d be a piece of cake to smash its ribs in with a few well placed kicks. Underneath a biting dog? Whip its bottom jaw off with your bare hands like I would. It should also be noted that dogs have no notion of the biology involved in oxygen supply to the brain and thus have absolutely no concept of a choke hold.
There’s also thumbs in the eyes, splaying of the legs and constriction to factor in.
Who else thinks they can beat a dog in a fight?

Same rules do not apply for children, the elderly, the infirm and people with one small hand like Jeremy Beadle.

I’m thinking standard guard dog/Alsatian type. These new fangled XXL Bullies might pose more of a problem but I reckon I’m still coming out with one in the win column.

Depends. Do the two dogs like each other? No, but they're prepared to work together to take you down. No 'I' in Team, and all that They’d have to work together with a level of sophistication hitherto unobserved among canines. They’d also be unaware of my special forces training which I’d rapidly deploy to identify and incapacitate the leader. The second one would run away yelping in both shock and awe. It’d probably hang around for a few days after hoping to join my pack but it wouldn’t suit me with my hours at work and that.

Dogs are quick. And wriggly. You sure you’ve accounted for that?
