I’ve made no secret of the fact that I think the lad flies by the seat of his pants at times but if it were up to me I’d be in for him. He’s got genuine potential and, assuming the cost isn’t too high, it looks like a gamble worth taking to me.
If he’s comfortable at League Two level a good two years before his prime then the chances of him making League One level at least make him a lower risk punt.
Now sit back and watch him sign for Lincoln.

I can see him moving to a southern L1 team, someone like Charlton. Too good for L2 but something to prove at L1 level, either way I'm not arsed until 5pm today

Critchlow UpdateI’m not convinced. Another season in League Two is probably exactly what he needs.

As has been said elsewhere his degree of comfort on the ball would suggest that he would be better employed as a defensive midfielder. It would also give whichever team he is playing for a bit of insurance when he has one of his semi-regular brain farts and loses the ball. He's too skilful and not strong enough for a centre half for me, especially in L2. Far better to have a pair of meatheads like Stubbs and Platt.

Reasonable moments for us but plenty of dodgy moments too. The only way he irons those creases out (assuming he’s capable) is with regular game time. He might not get that with a League One club so he could be getting ahead of himself here.
