Look at Vaughan's reaction after the tackle. I think that tells you once and for all if it was a red or not link

he only goes in with one leg, the other is tucked behind. It's not a high challenge and he makes no connection with the player. Setting a dangerous precedent if that's a fucking red. His foot isnt as high as I thought in real time, granted. But whether it's one or two foot is irrelevant. Hes lost control and I can see why it's a red. Bottom line, its completely and unnecessary, brainless challenge. I don't think he was out of control at all. Aggressive and forceful but it wasnt reckless. Fucking stupid though, these refs don't need a reason to give reds in this league.

Give over, thats a red all day long. There isn't a ref out there who wouldn't have given it. what was wrong with it? It wasnt high or late or two footed. You can't start giving red cards for challenges that are simply aggressive.

Can’t believe people are arguing that wasn’t a red. Late, high, out of control, reckless lunge. And he gave the number 27 a kick up the arse after the second foul.

You can't start giving red cards for challenges that are simply aggressive. I guess the vast majority of fans must be in wrong on this as they disagree with you. If you can't see why it was a red then you need to read what now constitutes a red card being given.

I can see why it was given but I don't think it was the correct decision. Looked 10x worse from the angle the ref had and what I saw at the time so i know why he gave it. Replays however i think it's very harsh
