The season starts in less than a fortnight, what's your starting 11? Will we get double figures? Will paddy power pay out on the title afterwards?
O'Donnell
Mellor Riley Paudie Everton
Scannell Palmer Gibson Wood
Vaughan Donaldson
Subs:
New keeper bloke Henley Cunty Doyle McCartan Ismael Longridge
6-1 win

As it stands today I think he'll start with the same 11 that started against Wigan.

----------------O'Donnell----------------
Longridge---Paudie---BRE----Mellor
Gibson-----Akpan---Palmer---Scannell
----------Vaughan---Donaldson---------
Even with Akpan and to a lesser extent Gibson that should be more than enough to see off Cambridge.

I think Doyle will have gone by then or will have had a twinge in his hamstring in training on Friday.

I've been unable to muster any enthusiasm yet. Closest I've got was just now when I remembered that I won't have to watch Chicksen & NKP this season.
I very nearly smiled at that.

At the end of the day it's hard to get excited when the only aim we have is to get back to where we were before Edin rocked up. The midfield is shite and we need to pull our fingers out soon. Could do with a nasty fucker in defence too.

His attitude and body language stinks too, I think he genuinely hates being here. Wood isn't a LW and should never ever play there again. He's a LB and should only play there, none of this donkey Hopkin square pegs round holes bollocks.

Riley looks genuinely a changed player this season. He seems up for it and eager to play. He had a very good 45 minutes against Liverpool and made some great runs forward. Out of the players Edin signed last season, i'm willing to give him the biggest chance.

Looking at that team shows that we’ve still got a bit of work to do.

Looking at that team shows that we’ve still got a bit of work to do. I find it difficult to predict how we’ll go at the moment. Shifting Akpan and Riley and replacing them with a decent DM and Left winger would make such a difference. Getting rid of O’Connor and replacing him with a centre half who isn’t a complete cunt would be the icing on the cake.

If he fails to leave Swansea then I think we might be stuck

Looking at that team shows that we’ve still got a bit of work to do. We're worried about the likes of Gibson starting games but teams such as Cambridge, Port Vale etc will have about 5 or 6 Gibson equivalents in their team and won't have players in the mould of Scannell, Vaughan etc to call upon either. At the moment we're probably about 7-10th. Bring in a proper DM and we're a completely different team though. Not having to rely on Akpan would make us climb about 5 places in table.

It’s agonisingly close. A couple out and a couple in and we could end up rolling teams over. As it stands I agree with you that it’s about a 7th place team that looks like it could be a bit hit and miss. All of this isn’t allowing for the Bowyer factor and whether or not he’s a manager that can squeeze a bit more out of a team than they’d ordinarily give though. I’d love to see us win a title in my lifetime, fuck O’Connor and Akpan off and this could arguably be our best chance ever.

Even with injuries at the back and only one decent midfielder we should be rolling this lot over.
